Anyway, "guess and grabbing at straws?" Isn't that primarily what forum advice is? You're not there with the vehicle to see, hear or feel what it's doing. Of course most of the responses are guesses. A lot of times the response is based on experience, which is why people post questions. They want to know what other people have experienced.
And BTW, the correct phrase is grasping at straws, just so we're not "know-nothings."
