I tend to stop posting when people stop offering words in which dissent is rationally discussed and memes start flowing. On the other hand, I tend to stick around for a while after when the memes and nasty response icons appear, so as to not reward that behavior.

As to my retorts not bothering anyone, sure. That's why the provocateurs walked away when challenged (not); the hallmark of disinterest.

You may disagree, but when I see someone take someone else's picture off the internet and post it or such icons rather than debate, when if facts where available they would post those instead, I'm convinced that the subject matter's been fully explored.

Recall: I asked if people were turned away for service for a modification and got wrong opinions that they do or should, likely based on ignorance and arrogance. I have no issue with threads going off topic, just when their ideas are wrong and based on stupidity.

By all means come with anecdotal or actual data on owners turned away for service for a battery bypass. Heck even offer an opinion, even one tangential to the original question. I can't hold you to standard more stringent than one I follow.

Here's an idea: plant some nasty response icon. And gather up your buddies and their memes because after all, it's not facts that address an issue, it's whose has bigger group dynamics.

To this point I've had private messages from non-contributors here assuring me to ignore the chatter given my harmless initial question. It's fair game to either ignore or retort to ridiculous replies. I even stepped away from this thread yesteday to give it time to subside.

We may all operate under the cloak of anonymity here but you get from me the same stuff here you'd get face to face. @Terrymo, if we were in person would you throw pictures and videos up in response to debate?

Curious, has anyone heard of or experienced a dealership denying service on a factory dual AGM battery JL simply because the owner presented the vehicle with a disconnected Aux battery and Fuse 42 setup (or, effectively the same thing, a fused jumper from N1 to N2 in the PDC)? TIA
