Anyone have specific settings for a stock 2023 Willys pavement princess?

I've begun getting some shimmy when hitting potholes and have read that replacing the lower control arms with the Mopar Performance 68322798AA's will allow greater caster adjustment range, but not sure exactly where I might want to dial it in?

TIA

Have your front end inspected first.

Toe is adjustable.....Are you going to purchase alignment bushings and pay to have them installed for camber setting adjustment?

Do you have a Manufacturer part number for those?

Replace the shitty factory steering stabilizer with something better.

Also don't bother with Castor adjustment just get yourself Mopar control arms if you feel the need. If you put those on and still feel like you need more caster than fine but don't be messing with all that first that's ridiculous.

Holy crap bad advice here....alignment bushings??????

For a stock jeep something is going on. First off, how many miles and a little about your jeep.

Then look at getting tires balanced, rotate tires, check all bushings in control arms, tie rod, drag link, tbar....Steering stabilizer might need to be replaced but is only a band aide.
Check all other things first before rushing to replace parts and alignment.

Set your Caster to a positive 6°. The adjustable lower front control arms will allow you to do this.

The longer control arms are for added caster that’s lost when installing a lift…or stock Rubis that come from the factory with low caster….mainly used to reduce wandering….On stock rigs if there’s no issues with tires, the first thing I would check is the track bar and steering stabilizer…. On a stock rig these are usually the culprit most of the time when you develop a shimmy over bumps…..

Many thanks all...

12,000 miles on the Wrangler. Mickey Thompson Baja Boss 285/70r17 tires only have 4,000 miles on them. I inflate to 35psi cold. Alignment is original...

It does have a FOX/MOPAR stabilizer already installed and I have ordered the MOPAR Performance lower controls arms, but those have not been received/installed. Wondered if I needed to do more in conjunction with installing those new lower control arms.

How do you check a track bar?

Are ball joints a concern at this mileage?

Lay under the front and watch the ends of the track bar for lateral movement while someone turns the steering wheel back and forth…it doesn’t take much, and sometimes hard to tell… also look at both ends of tie rod and drag link… take your time and watch carefully. A little bit is a lot….if you grab the tie rod or drag link bars and rotate it, that movement is normal, just so you know…As far as ball joints go, I’ve changed them as early as 8K and seen them go north of 60K….. It’s a crapshoot with these JL BJs …..

There are lots of bits under the Jeep that can cause problems when you hit bumps, not to mention other pavement issues and some of these things eventually degrade into deathwobble. But as for front end alignment the only thing you can actually adjust is Toe. Camber is set by the axle, caster is set by the control arms. The factory configuration for caster is on the low side and if you add some lift you make it worse, if you switch to the Mopar LCA from the Mopar lift you gain a bit more caster, but those arms aren't adjustable either. You can buy aftermarket LCA that are adjustable.
