I'm one of those who found out the hard way, that the Yeti track bar and ARB front diff cover don't play well together. I opted to switch out the track bar with a Metalcloak one.
Any idea if the ARB cover will work with the OEM track bar?

No clue at all. My arms and linkages were switched out long before I did the ARB covers.

The nearest related Intel i could provide, is the thicker Metalcloak front diff cover/skid plate combo does not play well with the factory track bar.

The only issue is having to paint them yourself. Not a big deal to do, and lets you choose your color, but for some of the mall crawling snowflakes on here it is too much.
Powdercoating FTW! At least that is what I will be doing. For me, I like the option that I can choose my own color.

Is a finned diff cover for the rear preferable, especially for towing, for heat purposes?

It may help some, but only at higher speeds where the air transfer/movement is greater and the benefit could be marginal when the cover is cast iron.

You can see my temperatures in one of my posts. I Installed gauges to monitor temperatures and was surprised at how hot it can get.
