Front camera option worth it?

Thanks, this seems to be just what I was looking for. I already have the Bulletpoint mount, so just need their 20mm to 17mm arm.

They make good stuff...I didn't know they offered different sizes in the ball mounts...score! The only mod that took any additional time was drilling a hole in the dash so I didn't have a wire running down just hanging there. I also used the pigtail that went to the supplied cigarette lighter power supply (and cut that apart so that I could make a quick connect with the positive to the aux switch bundled lead) and I grounded the negative to the a-pillar base (door strap mount). I then ran the other side of the wire through that plastic plug on the driver side and use the grommet to seal it when I popped it back in place. The unit comes with a little green wire and a little white wire and when you cut one of them it makes the image the proper orientation and the other wire (if cut) gets rid of the guide lines.

I pulled the climate control section of the dash (clips) and the radio (clips and screws for the surround, screws for the radio) to make the wire routing easier.

Had the tazer add on camera for two rigs and now the oem on my newer rig. I won't go without a front cam. The tazer add on obviously isn't as clear but gets the job done for sure. Crawling around at night, especially up hills coming over the crest, its invaluable.

Once your able to get used to tire placement in regards to the front cam, thats where it comes in even more handy.

Agreed. Hell's Revenge is night and day difference with the trail cam. All you can see is sky without one.

This is so true. A front cam in invaluable when climbing and cresting. You will appreciate it then.

Pffft, what’s the fun in that? Roll up to what appears to be the edge of a cliff, too lazy to get out and check, have unreasonable trust in the white dotted line, roll off the edge sucking up underwear.

How about on Black Bear Pass when you can roll right near the edge while making a multipoint turn on a few of the tighter switchbacks? Would that still be a Woooooo haaaaa!!?
