Does anyone know where to get a pin spanner for the Fox race series 2.5 smooth body shocks? I need to loosen the lock ring to rotate the remote reservoir hose to clear my air bumps. Fox says their part number is 803-00-706, but I can't find it anywhere and I can't find a generic version either.

Try any Fox dealer....

Polyperformance might have it....
Yeah, I tried a couple and they didn't have the part number in their system, so it's probably not a very common part. I was hoping to get it by this weekend, but I'll probably have to get one of them to call Fox and special order it.

I wonder how people are rotating the top collar when they have air bumps?

I found some nice pin spanners from Williams and Proto that are more flexible, better made, and cost less than the Fox tools. Zoro had them in stock and I used a 20% off coupon. I'll follow up on how they work once I get them.

UPDATE: The Proto JC497 worked well.

LOL, I was going to suggest that last night and even copied the Zoro link then thought, "nah, dumb suggestion."

I've used these before for other applications. If you have a dedicated use, I find it best to lay it over the OD of the part in question and tack weld the hinge joint. Just makes it less floppy, faster to use repeatedly, and less cause for sphincter retraction wondering if you're gonna bust yer knuckles
