So an update has arrived from the recon team @Roky & Co and I’m glad it did.

The off trails we picked are WAY too narrow and the fun zone we marked out is currently closed...

No big deal we have some close by options as follows.

So, we have (2) options and I will leave it to you guys on what you’d like to do and then update the post.

INFORMATION POST

In no particular order:

We can (A) go to the Ocala Hard Rock Park, seen below it is 38 miles and 50 mins to the West / Northwest of our original meeting spot and is $25 to get in with different levels of difficulty (I called and they will be open so no surprises):

Or (B) go out by @Roky to the Withlacoochee State Forest and run their trail which has some areas of difficulty and is approx 61 miles South/Southwest and about 1hr 18min from our original meeting spot as seen below:

@MORTON im good with either one. If @Roky has experience with trails by him, I’m good with option B. Especially if it’s cheaper!
A PM was sent to all that was coming so we can discuss further in there if you’d like, also, my cell number is attached if you’d like to call or text to talk off line.

I’m good with either, as I am not sure I can make it. If I don’t, PLEASE keep me posted on future rides!

Im good with either also. I live about the same distance from either. If I had to vote though, I would vote Withlacoochee.

Withlacoochee is a little closer for me (driving up from Port Saint Lucie), and it sounds like the price is right. I'm assuming there's some 'less technical' stuff too? Aside from 33" ATs, my Sahara is stock.

There's an outside chance that I'll not make it. Driving back today from the north, I had a momentary voltage issue come up. I have the 2.0 Turbo. Leaving a gas station, the Jeep didn't start back up after the ESS kicked in. I put the Jeep in Park, and restarted it. Once back on I-95 I decided to scroll through the gauges and noticed the voltage at 12.1. ...then 12.0, then 11.8, and then the warning light came on. I pulled off at the next exit, and parked at a Motel (kinda figured that being Christmas Day, I'd wind up staying there overnight until I could get the Jeep to a dealer). After sitting parked (and shut off) for a few minutes contemplating my next move, I decided to try starting the Jeep again. As soon as I did, the voltage ran right back up to 14.1 and stayed there. Got back on I-95 just south of Port Orange, and drove trouble free all the way back to Port Saint Lucie (roughly 140 miles). I've started researching it, and it sounds like similar issues have come up with other JL 2.0 turbos.. I'll be sure to post here if I'm not going to make it.

We see stock rigs out there quite a bit, for every tuff spot there is a drive around, but you’ll be fine.

Hey Dudes, I was looking to keeping things a little closer to home. 2 1/2 hours is a little far out of the way for me.
