Man, if you wheel (..and maybe if you don't?) Its imperative (imo) to perform a suspension torque check once in a while. I do one at least once per season. I just finished front and rear suspension, and found 5 total fasteners that took some turn to bring to spec. None were 'loose,' per se...
I'm in Charlotte too, and I know a few other Jeepers from our area. I don't do Uwharrie much (maybe 2 or 3 times per year), but we do occasionally plan outings to places in TN, GA, SC, etc.
93K miles on my 2.0. Recently had the belts and tensioners replaced, cooling systems flushed, and the turbo inspected (it was super clean). I did the spark plugs at around 70K.. Runs as good as new. I'm a touch concerned about the life span of the etorque system, but its my understanding...
I was there just a a week or two ago. I don't recall anything out of the ordinary in terms of impassable trails. Some pinstriping, for sure, but that's pretty normal
84K on my 2.0 turbo etorque. Lots of highway miles. Three trips out west (from NC), and countless drives back and forth between our FL and NC homes. I'm intending to keep it for another year or two, so I suspect I'll be around 120-130k before I sell it.
Yeah, I intend to contact Andy. But I wanna wait, and make certain that it's just the end that I need. I believe the body of the TR is fine, but I wanna inspect the tube threads, straightness, etc. Thanks
I'm from Florida, but currently in the Eugene OR area. I've been traveling the country hitting BOH trails, and recently bent a Steer Smarts Tie rod end. I'm looking for someone who might have a take off Tie Rod laying around.
