So what is the 822 mean? The DPF temperature? what is normal? ThanksNot familiar with Scangauge 3 but in Scangauge 2:
STM is for soot level in the DPF.
You can also set an X-Gauge for history of regens (TNR) - that is, how many regens it had since birth.

A couple hundred miles per regen. I think I'm similar. Definitely at least one per tank.My ScanGauge says my 2021 with 26000 miles has had 132 regens.
822F is DPF temperature. That 822F seems high because there was a regen going on - diesel fuel injected into the exhaust to burn the soot accumulated in DPF. Otherwise it would be 100-200F lower. Passive regen also occurs when DPF gets hot (personal observation - at above 500F).So what is the 822 mean? The DPF temperature? what is normal? Thanks
...36k on it, and have NEVER had a regen...
?Alright, I'm educated now, I know now that I have had lots of regens, just never had the warning to keep driving pop up. Which still blows my mind! Give it to me! I deserve it!!!![]()
Take your muffler off, and remove the drain gasket in the cargo tub, and make sure you keep your top on and all your windows closed. Drive around for a month and let me know when you start smelling bleach and are having trouble breathing.
Also make sure to roll down your windows when you start smelling that bleach, no point in killing yourself with poisonous gas.?
I've actually never had the warning myself either. I do lots of highway driving. My drive to and from work is 20 minutes highway driving, so I'm sure that helps.Alright, I'm educated now, I know now that I have had lots of regens, just never had the warning to keep driving pop up. this is not true. The JL gives zero indication when a Regen happens unless there is an issue.
Hey fellow 2022 JLURD Eco-Diesel owner ?Obviously I drive a lot of highways, a lot, the bulk of my driving is on pretty wide open highways, I have a 2021 3.0 with about 36k on it, and have NEVER had a regen. 2 cross country trip and weekly 4 hour drives. Today, driving locally to the gym had my first ever notice of regen, drove around for about 15 minutes and it cleared, I have to say I was kinda surprised, figured I would never have one since I haven't up to this point and it was less than a 1/2 tank of gas since I had a nice 4 hour highway jam. Should I assume that it may be more frequent? DPF is getting older and just feeling its age? Thats my assumption anyway. Haha!!
Never having the warning is significantly different than claiming to never having a regen. I've never had that warning either, but I've definitely smelled regens.I've actually never had the warning myself either. I do lots of highway driving. My drive to and from work is 20 minutes highway driving, so I'm sure that helps.

Yep, that is exactly how it behaved on mine. Except, mine did every 750 miles or so. So it is based on engine hours I guess if we never exceed 80% STM. If you do more highway, your distance since last regen would be higher than someone who does less.On my scan gauge 2, I monitor DPF temp, Regen active?, soot level (STM), and DSR - distance since Regen. I drive quite a bit of highway and rarely see over 30% on STM. However, I get a Regen every 1000 miles on DSR, no matter what. Upon reaching 1000 miles, the STM jumps to 80% and I get a Regen. I did the GDE tune and paid for the notification of Regen, so I see it most of the time.
