im not sure if the aux battey would cause this, mine died and i left it in the vehicle for over a year and had no problems other than the stop/start would not work...i replaced the battery myself for the hell of it and the stop/start still doesnt work so i guess the main battery is done as well...
I was under the impression the turbo charger has very specific low ash oil requirements and without meeting these you will not have a turbo for very long. "follow manufacturers recommendations" is a statement some people take lightly but to each their own, i guess?
