Have mine scheduled for next tuesday, dealer called today to verify the parts are in. Really dreading doing this, but would much rather just do the pump, than have to do the whole system. 36k miles and 2 cross country trips on my '21. I've been putting it off for as long as possible to make sure...
Shot in the dark, but first the backstory.
I have a 21 Sahara and my first mod what swapping out the stock plastic bumper with an after market steel bumper, the rubicon knock off, when I put that on I also installed a Curt front hitch. It was a pretty nice install. I modified the sahara air...
Any chance these work with a fly rod? And/or are the rod holders able to be swapped out? even with a little tweaking, are they bolted on to the mounting brakets, or fixed?
Wow, I need this in my life! Summers coming and I have tried to squeeze those surf rods in my jeep at least 20 times, they usually wind up bungeed on the roof rack!
If its an aftermarket warranty, which it sounds like it is, its doesnt have to be a dealer that does it. If you have a trusted independent shop they may be a better option than dealing with the Jeep dealership. I would think that you may even be able to find a recommended shop by the warranty...
I drive a lot in both Jersey and PA, live in PA, I know for a fact that they will pull you over in Jersey for no front plate, its cop specific of course, and it's just another reason you give them to hassle you. And I am talking Jersey registered, I have never been pulled over as a PA driver...
So, stupid question, when I go to Furmoto, or any of the sites with the drains, they show no listing for a JL with a 3.0, but do show Gladiators. Safe to assume the same thread? You know what they say about assuming, so just want to make sure.
Thanks for posting, same specs as mine and I have been going nuts on figuring out what to do, in between the KO2's and the Falken Wildpeaks. Great info.
Without having to pay the Mopar stearlership? Has anyone found an acceptable aftermarket coolant for the Diesel? And yes, I used the search, couldn't find anything other than buy the mopar brand. TIA!
Nice! I'm betting most of your noise is coming from the screened area, great idea and great use of what you had! Even a piece of some tinted lexan bolted up to that would work and wouldn't add too much cost.
Saido, it did work well, I did come up with something different late in the season last year, I didn't even use the PVC for this one, what I did was take 3 tarp bungees, the ones with the balls on them, I think they were nine inch ones, when I put the Bimini on I put the bungees in between the...
You can kinda see what i did here, I bought a generic air dam off of Amazon for like $70, riveted it on, it quieted it tremendously, then I added some diamond plate aluminum I had and riveted that in the Amazon air damn. It's quiet as a mouse now. I'm sure you could something with some lexan...
I have one, and it was loud! I fabricated an air damn for the front, it wasn't a huge deal and there's probably a 1/2 dozen ways to make something up. Even if you dump another $100 into it for an air deflector, you're still about $300 ahead of the next cheapest unit.
