I just took a razor blade to all those tabs if you are feeling real froggy I suppose a dremel if you want.
Thanks. That seems to be the only one I missed and wasn't sure if I'd need it later to attack the light bracket. Looks like i can cut it off.

I wont lie Ive had a few issues with LED burnout with my Quake Smoked ones over the few months Ive had them and it always seems to be the right one, however they have been AMAZING with customer service and sending me new ones with only pictures of the issues every time. Hell last time I wrecked it while out wheeling, told them about it and sent a picture and they said "Dont worry we dont need it back"

So yea all the companies have their quality issues AAL included but I can attest to Quakes customer service and highly recommend them.
I also should point out that my old man bought the same lights at the same time as me and has had 0 issues with his so like all aftermarket electronics you just never know.

They are also in stock now through quake so no need to wait a few months lol

I'm still running full factory fenders and liners. I do like the chopped look. But I have too many other priorities to get done first.

I’d go for OEM. I’m guessing if you’re gonna bedline the rears, it’s probably worth doing all 4. Might not match, maybe bedliner hold up better than the front textured finish?
I’d probably hold out for new AAL versions, too.
In the meantime, fashioning something like @Proximo did would work.

Yeah something like that might work. Maybe pipes painted black? I haven't made it to the hardware store yet. I can't get the rear fenders chopped so that's where I'm stuck at the moment.

I prefer the wider, stock flare for protection against mud & rocks but I think they both look fine.

Whatever will make you a happy Robot. ;)

If you want to have just a bracket and a simple or custom blinker setup, it’s hard to beat the motobilt or artec brackets.

I had the quake smoked ones, and wasn’t satisfied with the brightness of the blinker itself during the day. Although it looked great at night. Hopefully the AAL one will be brighter.

I ended up taking the LED parts off my quakes and custom mounting super bright amber flashers I got from an emergency vehicle shop to the brackets. If I was doing it from scratch, I’d get one of the above as a base and build off that.

That's an interesting idea. I don't really need the DRL aspect of the ALLs or Quake's. Just looking to have a side turn signal really. My halos are already me turn signals.

I love the look of the chopped OE fenders so I went the Quake chop route. That said if I ever total wreck them I'll get the KBD flares probably due to how expensive the OE ones are.
Just recently did the kbd on my Willy’s. Absolutely love everything about them. Great company to work with too which as we all know is getting harder and harder find.

you could do just the bracket and the 1/2” LED that they both have provisions for. And then for the bolt that secures the corner of the fender to the bracket, there’s a small LED through bolt that I found on amazon and use as side markers now but it would be pretty easy to wire up to blink too.

here’s what they look like turned on in the daylight. They’re surprisingly bright (brighter than the picture suggests)

How do you have those wired up? It looks like there's a black you can go to ground I assume anywhere and where does the red wire go to?
