Or if you prefer Metalcloak (my whole lift is MC now, but I still run the Rancho brackets that I bought four years ago when I did the lift and have zero reason to swap it out)...
I did the same when I started on my journey. The only things I added at the start, anyways, to the mopar kit was geometry correction brackets for the front control arms and the rear track bar, and an adjustable front track bar.
You could do an adjustable rear track bar instead of the drop...
I used the wiring diagrams from the forums, hereās the one for the turn signal connector in the fender well. I spliced into the harness, hooking up red to the park lamp wire (white/brown) and black to the ground wire (black).
you could do just the bracket and the 1/2ā LED that they both have provisions for. And then for the bolt that secures the corner of the fender to the bracket, thereās a small LED through bolt that I found on amazon and use as side markers now but it would be pretty easy to wire up to blink too...
If you want to have just a bracket and a simple or custom blinker setup, itās hard to beat the motobilt or artec brackets.
I had the quake smoked ones, and wasnāt satisfied with the brightness of the blinker itself during the day. Although it looked great at night. Hopefully the AAL one will be...
These are excellent. For the price? Downright magical.
I had another vendorās installed previously, and those were a huge pain to install - especially drilling nutserts into the sheet metal. And buying the nutsert tool. And cursing how hard sheet metal is, then buying proper bits. Then cursing...
price drop:
$500 for headlights
$200 for signals
$600 for both
Make an offer - shipped/local same price, although Iād probably do a cash discount for local.
Hey all, selling my OEM ledās. Headlights and turns have 51k miles. No issues. Some light scratches in the headlight covers, probably...
I knew I should have opened the box and read those
But in seriousness, their application flyer has an asterix for nearly every other carrier on the list with individual, specific instructions on what extras you need. My fault for assuming I was in the clear after seeing that they didn't...
Update, I just called and talked with Eaton - the e-locker runs a thicker shaft, needs bearings with a larger ID (same OD). For future people, they said the bearings in the rebuild kit are for all the carriers except for the e-locker.
According to the techs at Eaton, the bearings needed are off...
edit - this was in no way the shopās fault, totally mine for not reading the manual. Original text below for transparency.
***Well crud. That causes me to lose some confidence in them.***
Hi all, I recently purchased an e-locker for my front M186/D30 in my Willys for my regar. I decided to take it to a shop to have them do the install, alongside the regear, because I felt I was getting in over my head.
I purchased the locker (eaton p/n 19818-020) and the eaton install kit p/n...
