Yes the price seems a little high until you have removed the inner fender liners a few times without sending OEM fender clip shrapnel all over the garage and hoping you have enough spare OEM clips. Then you’ll thank @SadRobot for the adviceThey call it retention hardware. I have them for mine and I believe @Terrymo has them also. I was sort of forced into it because my previous aftermarket fenders used nutcerts I couldn't really remove. Taking off the fenders is a bit of a project now but I do like the look of the AAL clips.
I was able to buy just the plastic washers for $50 + $15 shipping. I bet I could I have had my brother 3D print something for me but I like to support @Adventure Lab (Team) because I do like their products.Yes the price seems a little high until you have removed the inner fender liners a few times without sending OEM fender clip shrapnel all over the garage and hoping you have enough spare OEM clips. I tried to get a set of black clips instead of the factory white and they didnt fit my fenders. I put the white ones on and never thought about it again. My fenders will never need to come back off unless I severely mess one up and a little bit of white I never see is worth not spending $100.Did y'all get the I guess is the bolt kit little pieces from American venture ? It's where you don't have white clips showing up in the fenders especially in the front. They're like little black I don't know but you can call him pieces but they going to replace the where the white clips are sometimes you'll see why it up in the fender little pieces where someone did to chop kit. American venture sells it
Never say never. I was hoping mine would never have to come off and then I needed a new engine. I don't think I've ever cursed so much as when I had to get the fenders back on after the new engine went back in.I tried to get a set of black clips instead of the factory white and they didnt fit my fenders. Youre not selling them at all lol. With clips you just pop it back on after replacing a few.Never say never. I was hoping mine would never have to come off and then I needed a new engine. Ha well I'm not sure it's the hardware's fault. I think it was a combo of having to get the brackets for my fender liners to line up behind the fender PLUS my shitty nutcerts installed by the 4x4 shop that put my old fenders on PLUS I had to re-use the bolts from my old fender which the shop used a mish mash of bolts. Like most of my Jeep the fender situation is a bit of Frankentein nightmare.Youre not selling them at all lol. With clips you just pop it back on after replacing a few.
Sorry brother…you DO have a Jeep and that $100 IS getting spent.I tried to get a set of black clips instead of the factory white and they didnt fit my fenders. Yeah those $65 spent on retention hardware was probably the cheapest mod I've done so far. When you throw 30k into a Jeep that's worth 5k what is another $65?Sorry brother…you DO have a Jeep and that $100 IS getting spent.
yea but not on fiddly bolts that apparently suck to install, itll go towards ducks and paw print cup holder inserts.Sorry brother…you DO have a Jeep and that $100 IS getting spent.
There had better be some turn signal extension levers in your futureyea but not on fiddly bolts that apparently stuck to install, itll go towards ducks and paw print cup holder inserts.
Yeah and maybe pick up a left handed smoke shifter. You're gonna need that when you go overlanding. There had better be some turn signal extension levers in your future
