Mine is silent pocket at night, jeep is garage most of the time. My only risk is parking lots, so I park close to a lot people traffic. My jeep will never be left alone at long term parking or over nights. I will take a different ride that only has a key.

There's still the pull tab to put the transmission in neutral in the center console, where they can roll your Jeep on to a trailer and drive away. If they want it bad enough you won't stop them.
Interestingly, on my Super Stock the tazer will lock all 4 brakes if theft is attempted. So even if in neutral she ain't rolling. Not sure if that works on a Jeep though? Yes there are wheel dollies, cranes, fork lifts etc... Again layers work.
And remember....

Most thefts posted on YT are using the huge antenna to relay the signal. Since this is the easiest and fastest method. But yes they can tow your JL or hotwire or program a new key etc. Just is not as easy or as fast. If they really want it - they will probably get it.

Seems they target a specific vehicle to fulfill an offshore order - then simply go get it. So just get a Faraday Box and put all your keys in it. Works a charm and is a super cheap deterrent.

Just check that your box works 100% and completely blocks the signal. Ours does - so all is good. Same with a hood lock and gas cap lock all keyed alike - 100% worth it. Takes your chances. Roll the dice.

;)

These turds deserve some good old fashioned Street Justice. Try this in certain parts of our country and you will get shot, and disappear without a trace.

I've noticed a rash of Dodge and Ram vehicles being stolen in my area. All have keyless Fobs. The latest one was stolen in a couple of seconds, an expensive Dodge Challenger. All signs point to the fob being cloned.
So, I ordered and received a Faraday Box from Amazon, for $15. Its big enough for 6 of our monster key fobs. Now, I can sleep better at night.
I bought one of the small pouches for my Wrangler key I put it into when I am at a location overnight or for a few hours. Won't stop everything, but just one more piece of incentive to move to the next one.

Just last month, a neighbor one block over shared Ring camera footage of their property, and others, being cased by an obvious outsider. A few weeks prior, another neighbor shared footage of their truck being damaged by a hit-and-run.

Both events were outliers, but for how much longer? The underclass is mobile.
