Welcome to my rig build journal. The goal is to optimize my rig to support my outdoor adventures. Capable of handling moderate to advance trails and overnight camping excursions is the desired outcome.
The foundation of my build is the 2023 Jeep 392 with the Xtreme Recon package. Last year, I flew out to Granger Motors and drove her back home.
Parked next to my 2021 Bronco Badlands on 37s.
Paid a visit to the awesome crew at Go Fast Campers to get their Roof Top Tent installed. They manufacture and assemble all of their products in house at their Belgrade, MT headquarters. In addition to being a US-based company, they offer the cleanest mounting solution (IMHO) for the Rhino-Rack Backbone platform.
The wind noise levels is barely noticeable. I had to stop to make sure it was still up there.
Wasted no time in getting out to enjoy the outdoors.
What's better than one 392 equipped for adventure? Two of course!
It's Spring time in CO but it still feels like Winter. Frosty! (Buena Vista, CO)
My current setup.
- 2023 Jeep 392 Xtreme Recon
- Warn VR EVO 10-S Winch
- Factor 55 Flatlink
- Rusty's Oil Pan Skids
- Rock Hard 4x4 Lower Control Arm Skids
- EVO Mfg Lower Shock Mount Skids
- Metal Cloak Rear Diff Skids
- Rhino-Rack Backbone
- Go Fast Camper Roof Top Tent
- Adventure Hammock Systems
- Diode Dynamics Ditch Lights
- LUX Rock Lights
- BulletPoint Dashmount
- RokBlokz Mud Flaps
- WeatherTech Window Deflectors
- Shorty Antenna
Pondering what to upgrade next. More to come!!
