I am constantly in central / south Texas! I am in Tulsa, OK and have corporate offices in Houston and San Antonio. When I’m there for more than a day I usually like to drive.
I’m glad I was able to help. It was disappointing because much like you, I always want a little bit more. Well… that...
I sent them an ebay purchased PCM that i had my local dealer clone for me. 20k miles on the tune with switch on the fly etc. and all of my items work as intended. No lights, no CEL's, no nada.
i will offer a small gripe. Switch on the fly is supposed to have the stock but deleted, 30, 50 and...
Whats better is to sell your wheel and tire combo and put that lifted jeep on some stock sport wheels and tires... tell them mods arent a value add or deduction.
Exactly why I said what I said. I just expected from the “I run 40s without issues or it has more torque than the 392 you don’t need it” folks are obviously wrong. It’s also just simply wrong for a 3.73 with 37’s. I’m doing my other diesel now with 4.56s that’s still on Ko2 37’s I cannot wait...
50k miles in :
37" Ko2's stock gearing: 41k miles, Zero issues or concerns, multiple wheeling trips, found 8th nicely.
38x13.5 Falken RT/01 stock gearing: 2k miles, Constantly hunting for 8th, shifting felt off, power significantly reduced and 2MPG loss. It didn't drive bad just not good...
So, my spare tire reinforcement bracket on my 2021 that came with my order did not have the spare tire relocation included. I would like to see your setup with the tire dismounted to see if it has the 1"or so risers to the studs to get that carrier lifted up.
I mean, you’re wrong but you’re allowed to have an opinion. The 392 is a dog poop design because of the full time 4wd. You’re not well read on the ecodiesel platform all together are you? Like what Mercedes, Ram etc are getting out of them? Crazy longevity. Your opinion is based solely on feelings.
I am in the middle of this dilemma now. 2 offroad shops and 2 alignment people state my ball joints are fine. OEM balljoints with 45k miles on them running no smaller than a 37" tire now running 38's with high offset. THEY HAVE TO BE SHOT. Something in my gut tells me to just have them replace...
This is one of the most baseless BS accusations ive ever heard. You literally recommended the worst platform in jeep history the 4xE. 100% chance you dont own and have not owned a diesel wrangler. There should be a BAN button for this kind of crap.
50k on mine, old pump, drive it like i stole...
Honestly I dont know the real culprit for the failures. Is it lubricity? If so, running something like hotshots would definitely assist in that regard. But if its mechanical BS then i cant see it working. I've been running it, mostly because i can run 2oz and up my cetane on my tuned rig.
Multiple nights with me, my kid and gear, zero issues on or offroad. This rack holds 225 dynamic or 600static. Me and my kid weigh 300, RTT 160, gear 20'ish... so 480/600 static and 180/225dynamic and shes doing just fine. this is not a gutter mount only rack though, it has feet which rest on...
Just a quick update. 3 nights down. The roof is holding up perfectly. No creaking or rattles, the rtt is solid and it sleeps VERY well. I do get more wind noise than the hard top JL but I am going to try and build a little air dam and see if that helps!
Haters will say I’m wrong or it’s photoshopped.
WELL WE DID IT!!! Proved it to be true, We have added an RTT with the DEEZEE roof rack and its SOLID on the sky one touch.
NO YOU CANT OPEN THE TOP ( NO I DONT CARE, I PULLED THE FUSE )
When the time comes to remove the RTT i'll reclaim my roof...
