Thanks, Ormandj. The 4xe has plenty of power for the smallish "37 inch" KO2's (which in reality measure 35.5") and light wheels. My tire& wheel combo weighs 87Lbs, so much less than others. I'm planning to run these tires until the tread is gone, then switch to some true 37's, probably Mickey Thompson AT tires which are a lot heavier.

I put the 37's and Mopar 1" lift on very early in my ownership, so I didn't really see a change in mileage, per se. I have been seeing about 20.5mpg overall, calculated at the pump & including all miles from charging. Mileage on this vehicle is totally dependent upon where & how I drive. If I were to just drive in the road & commute all the time, I'm sure I'd be up over 40mpg...but where's the fun in that? I go on longer road trips or offroading probably 45weekends per year which does a number on mileage. Pure highway driving yields about 18.7mpg at 65-70, full loaded, with a large canopy or space case in the roof.

I have a bunch of images to add which I'll get to eventually.
Hi @Gazelle - I am about to install the mopar 2" lift springs and Fox reservoir shocks (franken lift). I am contemplating going to 37 c-rated KO2s like you did.
Can you share if you did see 8th gear on highway drives on the I-5/I-90 going up to trails?
Also around town what was the reduction in electric miles per charge after 37s?

I live in the Vancouver area up north and possibly have same trail condition, wet roads and highway traction situation like yours.

Hi Greywolf,
Yes I see 8th on the highway, but more on my way back from the trails on I90 (downhill) than I5. I'm usually doing 70mph max, so it doesn't take much to downshift a gear or two. The transmission seems to handle the tire size just fine.
My next set will probably be some Mickey Thompson Baja Boss AT's in 37" size. They're much heavier and true to size (the KO2's are ~35.5"). At that point I may need to look into lower axle gearing.

While the Mopar lift was fine, and the Fox shocks were a definite upgrade, the Metalcloak lift I have now is far better. The articulation far exceeds the Mopar lift. I definitely recommend it if you get into moderate trails or rock crawling. For me, even just minor obstacle would leave me high centered. The extra couple inches I gained with the new kit makes a big difference.
