Ill move this here since no response in general. Does anyone know of a company that sells a engine/trans skid plate only for the 2.0? The only company i can find is Rusty's and they want $60 to ship it and i'm not really sold on that brand....

Why do you want only those? How about the battery for example?

It already has skid plates and and cross members to help protect other items. The oil pan and trans is wide open though. I do realize the factory skids are light weight.

I’d suggest the full skid system from Metalcloak. You’re one coolant line failure away from a bad day

Shipping to me is $70.00 just for the engine skid.... ripoff.

I found this one. I can't tell if it is for both engines or what as it doesn't specify anywhere.
Also not sure on the quality.

Search Google for
Westin 42-21095

Check Artec Industries.
Aluminium heavy duty skid plates with higher than stock ground clearance.
I really do like there skid system but they don't sell just the engine/trans skid separately because all of the components bolt together.

I spoke with someone from Evo last week about them making/selling a Engine/skid plate for the 2.0 like they already do for the 3.6. He said he has the 2.0 so it was something they wanted to do but didn't have a ETA on when they would get around to making them.

I was told by EVO that the 2.0 had already been tested and awaiting production a couple months ago?

Thanks kinda funny. About a month ago, i asked Evo when it would be available. The reply was "we don't have any plans for developing one for the 2.0"

I put a Metalcloak skid on the rear Differential.
I have concerns about a full skid system holding too much heat in.
Thoughts?

Asfir make a 1/4” aluminium engine/gearbox skid which they'll sell as a separate piece.

Nice find $70 shipping to the U.S though. Still not a bad price overall.
