Earl vs Anvil

I was ready to order a new Earl Rubicon as soon as pricing is released…. But now I see they are also bringing back Anvil!!
From the pictures I’m seeing- Anvil looks darker. What are other differences from those who have seen them in person? Also- is this one Earl?

I’m pretty sure that is Earl.

I had an Anvil 2015 JKU. To me, Earl is bluer. Go with Anvil. You won’t regret it!!

I love anvil. I passed on a couple of earl 2023s. It almost looked greenish in person. Not horrible but I kept doubting whether I liked it.

Was set on and Earl two-door Ruby, until the 2024 update, been waiting the whole generation and right when I'm about ready to buy, Anvil comes out and Willie is upgraded. Definitely my buy coming up

Anvil is the best color they ever offered on a Jeep. The light hits it differently depending on time of day. Sometimes it's blue, sometimes grey, sometimes a hint of green, it's just an awesome color. Earl on the other hand is simply a very very light grey. Look at the "Smoke Show" color offered on Challenger and you'll see it.

I’m a Sting Grey owner. I’d say Anvil is similar. I’ve seen some earl Jeeps around and that’s the color I’d buy if I were shopping right now.

Earl with black accents, is gorgeous.

But I do think earl begs for color matched hardtop and fender flares.

I had a 2014 Anvil Rubicon and it's was such a great color, i was really sad to sell her for a 2022 Rubicon. However Earl color is very light blue some say hits of green. "I personally don't like the color just seems way to girly to me".. Anvil is a much darker color and more of a neutral/Natural color. Assuming its the anvil color as they use to have. I should have waited to build by sting Gray if knew they were going to bring back anvil

Both are very similar blue-grays but anvil is much darker. Like comparing the darkness of granite crystal vs silver zynith.
Anvil always struck me as a dark gray with a blue tint to it. Earl seems more of a light blue that sometimes looks light gray.

To me Earl looks like seaform green mixed with a light grey color. I’ve seen pics online and it looks really different in person.

Ive got an Anvil JK and will be buying an Anvil JLU. I almost traded my black JLU in for an Earl but its too light for my taste. Anvil is hands down the best color ever made imo.

I painted my house a color close to Anvil because of my Anvil JK. Lol. Great color.
