Okay okay, since I never got ducked, I have a question for the forum: does getting shit on the Jeep from a flying duck count...?

?
Around my area, 99.9% of the time it's Canadian geese. Car, house, driveway, you name it. They're flying shit machines ?

I can't imagine being so angry at the world that someone else's appreciation of my Jeep could make me mad. Some of you need to get laid.
Yeah! Evil said it all. Don't get angry. ?

Here’s my duck story that I hope you will find encouraging:
I’ve had my JL since 2019, almost new 2018. I had never been ducked until the end of last October. It was 3 days after my world came crashing down around me because of a tragic event involving one of my adult children. I was a walking zombie who had not slept for three days. As situations like that go, I was in a situation that I had to be on call without any alternative, so I was out very early on a Saturday morning. I stopped to fill up at about 5am and another Jeep pulled into the station, 2 adults and several children. Still gassing up, i feel a tug on my shirt and a little guy, maybe 5 years old, is behind me holding up a red duck with stars on it. All he said was “hey mister, sweet Jeep”., and handed me the duck. It was the first time I smiled in days.
It’s stillon my dashboard.
it may be a silly or peculiar thing to you, but that morning it was the simple act of a kid that brought me a little bit of happiness.
Randon acts of kindness do matter.

when we first got our jeep we got ducked, i didn't know what was going on, but my wife did, but we didn't know how it started or why, i thought it was dumb, and i didn't care for it, then i found out how it started and why, so now I'm ok with it, it doesn't bother me and i would keep them on a shelf at home with a tag stating where we got it, just for memories.

I love the whole ducking thing! I ducked someone for the first time today. It gave me a little rush of excitement. Now I’m just waiting to get ducked.

At the beginning I thought the duck game was pretty neat. Give a duck to a fellow wrangler owner who put time and money into tasteful mods that catch your attention. But now y'all are handing out ducks like participation trophies at a 6 year olds T ball game. I got a few from fellow Jeepers but any more I get I turn around and put them on someone else's ride.

I've got a stock 23 JLU Willys XR, and I've been ducked a few times. I bought a box of I think 50 greenish glow in the dark ducks off Amazon to duck Jeeps when I see them and think of it. I think I've ducked maybe six Jeeps so far.

I keep one or two on my dash so folks know I'm duck friendly.

I think of ducking as just a fun thing like the Jeep wave. It isn't a popularity contest or necessarily an award for the best modified Jeep.

A couple weeks ago I took my 92 y/o mother to Dennys for breakfast. She saw the duck on the dash, and she mentioned she had heard something about ducking, and I explained it to her. When we got back to the Jeep after eating, I had been ducked. My Mom was so excited to have been there when I got ducked.
