This along with enabling a tazer hood alarm would be great. Horm goes off if they try to pull the fuse

Does or has anyone figured out a way to run a cable lock under the hood.

Why is a Tazer unable to use horns when no entry of pin and gear change out of park? Nothing else is needed when imobilized by pin. Surprised tazer does not have ability to text using wifi connection if it senses door opening when parked at your home location. Setup could be done with ztool.

With the addition of a Boltr hood lock, why not just pull the starter or fuel pump fuse? I don’t trust the additional wiring not to fail at some point.

Probably not practical, as there's nowhere near as much open space on JL's as there was with older models.

The Bolt hood lock is a great option. Relatively easy to install, easy-to-use, effective lock that uses your Jeep key to lock/unlock. The only negative in my eyes is that when you sell your Jeep, the lock goes also, since it can only be "programmed" once, which makes sense. Still, $120 for the lock is cheaper than replacing a stolen battery, or anything else that easy-access to the engine compartment might end up costing you.

I don't need the product posted, and I have no insight into its build quality. However, for those who do need it, I think it would get more consistent use than popping the hood and pulling a fuse or relay every time they park their car at home, work, the market, the parking garage, etc. After all, any theft prevention strategy needs to be constantly used to be effective.

We use our JL for road trips that include Hotel stays so I added the Bolt hood lock right after I bought my Jeep. Last Spring I saw a post where this relay solution was shared on this site and I have used it through this travel season or anytime I leave my JL in a public lot for a long period of time. It has worked flawlessly and gets occasionally tested when I forget that it is flipped on and I try to start. I keep the orig relay in a spare location in the fuse box just in case this product fails. I have the auto trans so I ran the interior switch wire through the plastic plug near the brake master cylinder. The hardest part was deciding where to hide my toggle switch and it still be easy for me to get to. Ordering the relay was easy and straight forward. Their communication on order/shipping status after the initial order could be tightened up with some email updates or something more than leaving a voicemail message on thier contact number, but it did arrive within their time frame although at the very max end of it a couple of days before our long planned multi-state vacation. Between the Bolt hood lock and this relay, I feel most car thieves will just move on to an easier target.

I wonder what is the problem with this system and the e-torque and the Stop/Start feature? Is it that the car won't start back up when you take the foot off the brake at a light if you don't have the Stop/Start button on the dash pushed? What about if you have the Stop/Start button on the pushed to turn off that feature if the Mobilistic system will still work? It should be just a simple relay for the starter system with a radio controlled function that opens and closes a contact point in the relay.

I hope the Mobilistic system will work if I have my Stop/Start Feature button pressed in on the Dash. I always disable the Stop/Start feature when I start up the vehicle. Occasionally, I forget to do that.
Anyways, I ordered one and I am going to give it a try and hope that it will work the way I hope it will.
