And yet again, the check engine light has come on. I think it’s a electrical module this time, but this is getting kinda old because the O2‘s went in at the same time. They were supposed to fix the electrical module and now that light is on again, so here’s my big question Once you start seeing these check engine lights come on do they ever stop?

It depends. Mine went away after removing the mouse nest in my intake.

You have to find the real root cause. Unfortunately you might have a new one.

The CEL will stay off only when the root cause(s) are remedied. Consumer-grade OBD II readers can extinguish the dashboard icon, but it will reappear if the now-stored code(s) are triggered by unresolved problems. This is why a dealer's pro-grade diagnostic equipment can ding you during a state inspection appt., even if you've used the aforementioned reader to turn off the CEL light.

That was the exact experience of my neighbor when he was attempting to locate the source of an intransigent issue with the emission system on his Dodge Dakota truck. Like clockwork, he'd call me over weekly so that I could pull the same code and extinguish the CEL light. Only after recurring parts replacement did he finally hit paydirt after replacing the dodgy sensor in the vicinity of the fuel fill neck. That, and driving the vehicle ~100 miles to convince the PCM that the problem was indeed fixed, allowed the CEL to finally stay off for good.

brother like 900 different things can cause a CEL. it isn't a single component, it's an entire system using different parts to make a functional vehicle.

pet peeve of mine is fixing a CEL on a vehicle; then it comes back on 3 months later for a totally unrelated reason and the customer starts yelling at us like we didn't fix it.

there was an issue on the 2024s with faulty PCM software causing o2 sensor failure, if that's what you're referring to

if you don't have a scanner you can go to a store like auto zone and they will scan it for free. at least then you can verify if it is going off this time due to an O2 sensor issue or something completely unrelated ( like a bad gas cap if you are lucky)

The jeep was new in January of 2024 but it was an onstrike build that would make it about 1 year 7 months give or take.
so i guess it could be as old as 2 years
7-months maybe more
How long does a battery sit around while the jeep is being built?

it'll have the codes stored for quite a few drive cycles once the light goes off

Going to for at least documentation purposes hopefully they can find it and fix it just dropped it off at the dealer and he said that his battery monitor module issue which could be caused by something like a ground wire
The way he described it is all these different modules go into a central campus so it conceivable if I had a loose ground wire in the auxiliary switch panel for like aftermarket lights that would disrupt the signal to the battery monitor module, and we would not be covered on the warranty
Which I suppose I can understand
How often does the battery monitor a module go bad and would a previous dead battery cause this?
