The form-fitting seat covers in my JLU require a plethora of straps that are secured (and under constant tension) under each seat. I'll have a look to determine if they are making excessive contact with the wires that you mention.

+1 on short girlfriends not being marriage material. ;)
Look from behind (from back of Jeep if 4-door. Connector and wires are green and white. Hard to miss. It is attached to the floorboard and the wires sit tall under it.

What is the function of this "marriage" option that you guys speak off?

Its main function is to decrease the Mod Budget... tends to do so very well, I might add..

Cheers,

Honestly, my first thought. Saw a TV special on the new (at the time) Chevy Tahoe/Suburban, and how you could have several elementary age children lined up in front single file before the top of the last one’s head was visible to the driver.

Only a matter of time before frontal cameras get mandated.

My XR Rubi just delivered. Pick it up next Thursday. Hoping the wife is cool with $2k for these. It’s for her after all, right 😁

Hi Tod,

My wife rode in our '71 Bronco for 10 years... finally said ENOUGH!

We got our JL in March, and the only thing (besides the Jeep) that she said we had to buy was the RockSlide steps.

It was only her request.

We were at several events in Moab in the Bronco. On one trail, the engineering manager for Rock Slide was directly behind us in his JK. I think it drove him a little crazy when I would get out of the Bronco, grab the kitchen step stool that belonged to my Mom from the back, and walk over and put it down beside my wife's door. I still haven't figured out what the problem was... I never complained, and the stool never fell over. It must be a status thing.

The RockSlide steps work great, by the way.

Jeff

You can put the folding step under the rear seat or in the trunk

I don't understand this thread at all 🤔 . My GF is 5'11" and, over a five day trip in the Rubicon, I never heard anything but how awesome the removable tops are.
