I bought 4 of the 1 quart flex packs but only ended up using 3 total to get both the front and rear refilled. I doubt the covers change the internal volume based off my observations.

I bought the grey version and they look very nice. I did reuse the stock gaskets and the hardware that was provided with the covers. You could reuse the factory bolts as they are the same length and grade. I torqued them to about 22-24 lb. ft.

Thank you for the info. I was thinking two cases would be sufficient but I’ll get three minimum.

Those covers do look really good!

Just installed Dana Spicer AdvanTek front and rear diff covers on my 2025 JLURX. Filled with Valvoline 75W-140 front and rear per Dana Spicers recommended specification.
I have a 2024 JLURX and would like to do the same.

If it's to much trouble is there any chance you could send me the links for the proper front and covers ?

Thanks

Hello. Here are the part numbers and links to the product on Spicer Aftermarket. Shop around though as the price varies. I purchased from Jegs because I got the rear cover for $106. Looks like they are out of stock though. Summit Racing and Amazon have good pricing on these.

94-10044799 front part number

94-10040651 rear part number

Why are there two fill holes? Just curious.
The top hole is for a new unfilled axle initial fill level. The bottom hole is the fill level for an axle that has been in service. If you are replacing your covers use the bottom hole for your fill level.

That’s a hell of a deal!
Yeah, I wasn't going to bother doing diff covers when I changed fluid since my wife's rig isn't likely to see much offroading.
But when I saw them for that price I jumped on them...

kind of surprised how little diff fluid my rubicon had from the factory...was pleasantly surprised tho that there was nothing on either magnet at 10,000 miles.

Got them switched on Sat...
I used Amsoil severe gear 75w140 in the rear and 75w110 in the front (plus the balance of the 2nd quart of 75w140)

So what was the consensus on the M186? 75w90 or 75w140?
When, ever, was there a consensus on anything around here. ;)
