The shifter error points to CAN bus errors on either CAN C or CAN D (it communicates over both). It is likely CAN C. CAN D is just a private bus between the shifter and TCM.
Yeah, updating the knee speakers were a welcome improvement, but I think I know why Jeep never put tweeters on the dash - they just will never sound good with the low quality internal DSP they are using... Especially with the garbage bitrate of XM. I was considering the terra acoustics because I...
Have you listened to these on XM radio? I've tried JBL Club, JL C2s and now am on the JL specific MB Quart speakers and they have all sounded like junk, but especially so with XM... lots of crackling and distortion
Yeah, that is called the instrument panel (IP), and you never mentioned that you drove it. It might be a connector for the lockers and sway bar module that Sahara's don't have. Not sure though because I also have a Sahara

As an electrical engineer, I know it is only a matter of time before these lights completely fail due to condensation. I can only hope I don't have to wait for that to happen before I can get a replacement.
Hey guys, I noticed that the passenger side Oracle reverse light that I installed last spring is completely full of condensation. Has anyone else had this issue? I don't have the steel bumper, so I didn't have to modify the housing to get it to fit so it is clearly a manufacturing issue.

I doubt the default settings are stored in the BCM. What is most likely occurring is that there is a copy of the default software stored in flash on the head unit itself and when the reset procedure is applied, it runs a bootloader application that reflashes the head unit with the default software
