Diff fluid help

I’m putting new covers on my axles and was told 80w90 was the juice to use, but I’m about to depart on a long road trip towing a trailer. Can someone help me out on the correct fluid? This is for an 18 JLUR. Thanks

Full synthetic 75w-140 in the rear and 75w80 in the front. Since you have a Rubicon you do not need any additive for LSD.

75w85 front and rear is what recommendation from owners manual. Let others chime in to be sure

75w-140 came factory in the rear if you got the towing option.

Put 75w140, as others have said. That's best for towing. Wal Mart Supertech full synthetic is great stuff and cheap. It is the same as Mag 1 brand. Valvoline full synthetic can be had for just a couple bucks more per quart. I've been running Supertech in my JK for years and the innards look new after 130k miles. I've done lots of towing with it, too.
