Personally I would do the sting grey. I got my black sport off the lot because I couldn't wait and regret not going with the sting grey that I really wanted. To me its a good mixture of a muted color that still stands out as different from other grey vehicles. If you do go with white I agree with @Opus definitely do black accents they looks so good on a white JL but without them I think it just looks to plain.

If I had gotten a hard top with my 2022 Sahara I wouldn't have ordered a 2023 Rubicon in Reign. The Red is an awesome color. It really shines...

I struggled with color choice too. Dark green is my favorite color. My wife would say dark green and black define my personality. So when it came time to order my Wrangler, sarge green with black accents/rims was the no brainer.

However, I seriously contemplated Gobi. The problem in my mind was that I didn't love the color as much as I did how Jeeps look in that color, if that makes sense. I wasn't going to start buying all my clothes and accessories in that color, and at the end of the day I felt like should get my favorite color. As a stand alone color, I don't care for Gobi.

So how do I feel now? I love my Jeep, and certainly wouldn't trade her for anything. But I wish I'd ordered the damn Gobi when I had the chance. I thought about it the entire build process. I think about it every time I see one.

Learn from my story what you will :)

All the non-white colors look better than white, but in Hawaii, white (with body colored top) is 900 degrees cooler than black and about 20 deg cooler than the other colors. All our rigs are white. We're taking it to Moab next August where the white advantage is greater.

Ordered a new high tide in white.. second guessing my decision…. Really like the sting grey still have time to change as vin not assigned yet.. white is nice and looks clean, but that sting grey with black fenders looks great too.., ugh… any feedback welcome.. Jeff
I always go with my first instinct, even when second guessing would have kept me out of jail.

My 21 Rubicon was Sarge Green and my 23 Rubicon is now white. I chose white after seeing a white one in person and i liked it allot!

Whatever you decide will be good, since its your decision ?

With the Jeep’s military roots I went with Sting Gray (aka Destroyer Gray) since its color came from military destroyers. The double meaning as sting ray is cool too.

I also like how the color can change so much depending on the sunlight:

The Sting Grey was my 2nd color choice. It’s a great color.

Sting Grey is a great color and it’s had the best staying power of the solid greys. But two colors are timeless and will never age your vehicle. Solid (not pearl) white and black. They never go out of style. Solid reds are right up there too.

Greens, blues, maroons, brown/tans, and golds have so many shades that some look very dated after just a few years. I remember in the early 90s when dark green cars/SUVs with all the trim done in gold tone was popular. Those cars look awful today.

Both look great on a jeep. Only you can decide which will make you happy however.
