Currently stock 2020 Willy’s jlu. Switching out tires to KO2 285/70/17s with a possibility of needing new shocks.
Interested in adding a small lift at the same time. If I go with a mopar 2” is it gonna look funky? I’d be happy with maybe a little taller than a stock Rubi. I’ve read the 2” is actually more like 4?
I need to get it all done in once place so I’m considering the dealer here and combining some coupons and the buy 3 get one for $1 tire offer going on to offset some of the price gouging.

Lift kits online are generally listed for Rubicons, so on a non-rubicon you'll usually gain an extra 1"-1.5" over listed.
Shouldn't look too funny, but you'll certainly give yourself the clearance to opt for 35's in the future.

My sport S with a sagged front suspension from carrying a steel bumper and winch actually gained nearly 5” with the Mopar. It’s not complete though, and you’ll still need track bars and lower control arms. I like the springs, I like the shocks, but it’s not a “total” kit. When I got mine they were about $1300. So I was paying $1000 for the shocks, and $300 for springs.

As far as it looking odd, it did. I had 285’s too (rear) and they just looked small. 35x12.50’s (front) brought the proportions back. This pic was during my tire/ wheel swap after a couple years with the lift on and settled down to about 4” over the starting point.

What you need is a Rubicon take off suspension.

I’m totally down with this but need to get it all done at once and in one place so not sure how I’d do that unless the dealer happens to have a takeoff laying around.
I’ve been looking on marketplace just to have an idea.

Find yourself and have them install it it's factory parts they shouldn't have an issue with it.
I would go ahead and get the Mopar lower control arms that are a little bit longer too and have them do that as well so it'll drive nice.

You’re in Los Angeles, I just looked on OfferUp and there’s about 40 of them near you.

The factory sport LCA’s put me at 3.8°, after the lift the longer mopar LCAs put me at the same. I went with adjustable LCAs and set them to 6.0°. It made a HUGE difference in stability.

Maybe I'm searching wrong but I'm not finding much. My 2020 Willys is 4dr and a 2.0 turbo if that matters?

You need the springs and shocks, the control arms are the same on all of the JLU's, even the XR package has the same control arms.

You could always just get spacers unless you plan to add weight. Then buy some better quality and longer shocks along with the Mopar lift kit lower control arms.

If you can find an XR take off that would be a decent option but the shocks are pretty basic.
