it appears the owner of the dealership recently lost his $7.2m house in a fire, been there and it sucks big time.
Anyway if you go to https://www.baywaychryslerdodgejeepram.com/about-us/staff/ this shows the leadership trail, if it was me I would be digging deep to get to the owner, probably not the right time due to the fire so work on getting contact info on the COO or CFO, first thing is to get their home address via the property appraisers office, most of these guys have all contact in their wifes name, see what you can find and call, if you cant find a number for them see if you can find one for a neighbor, calling a neighbor really gets their attention. Had an issue with a major US bank, sent a letter to the home of the CEO, he obviously got the letter because in just a few days it was all resolved, no calls I just received a letter of apology along with the resolution.
I'm kind of a bulldog and don't have a problem pissing people off, guess its just my nature.
My current issue is going to be this radio BS in the Jeep I just paid a lot of money for.
FYI the owner also has a home in Colorado..
I'm going to give the GM one more day to contact me before I start knocking on doors :bandit:
I'm not going to contact anyone at the dealership, it's their job to make the phone call.

I made a deal with the stealership a few weeks ago and purchased an '18 JL Sport, manual transmission and power nothing. The vehicle didn't come with A/C, so we managed to work it into the sale because we need it 11 months of the year in SE Texas. After 'waiting my turn' to drop it off and going back and forth about parts availability, the dealer told me to bring it in and the mechanic should have everything taken care of in 7-10 days (there was an issue with the rear defroster connector being broken).
Does it really take 7-10 days to solder a connector and install a compressor/Freon? The dealer has had the vehicle for 6 business days already and It's been a hassle to get any straight answers from the salesman, "managers", and parts department...
Installing A/C in a vehicle that was not originally setup for it is a big undertaking especially in newer vehicles. 10 days is not out of the norm. Be patient.

It’s a big job but it’s no 10 day job. The ducting, controls, fans, etc are all in place. He just has to add the compressor, condenser, new belt and tubing, tighten all the fittings, leak check, and charge it.

I don't think it's the length of the job that's bothering the OP... it's the string of broken promises and actively avoiding his communication efforts that really gets under the skin. People can understand when things don't go as planned, but if you keep in touch and keep them informed most are willing to work with the situation. But when they go into silent running that's when red flags start popping up.

Not to mention it's been 3 weeks since the OP's original post... just sayin...

Absolutely how I feel. I work in a shop so I understand that setbacks happen sometimes and every 20 minutes job is one broken bolt away from taking the rest of the week.
I told both managers that I want updates, even if they're just telling me that it's going to be a few more days. All contact after the sale was initiated by myself or my wife, never by the dealership.
Today marks one full month without my vehicle.

THIS is what gets me -- if you say you're going to call, CALL! -- even if it's just to say "sorry no new updates".

This gives the customer confidence that you're at least following up.

My Lord, Man!
Why don’t you just tell us when something HAPPENS?
This daily anal exam of your and your wife’s emotional turmoil over the daily nonevents regarding something which in the big scheme of things isn’t really a very big deal is wearing me out.
I know. Just don’t click. I try not to. But I keep hoping you’ll say something other than “same old shit...new day”
But you don’t.
It’s the same old shit. Every day.
I’m starting to wonder if this is some elaborate troll.
One thing for sure:
OP loves attention. Can’t stand to be off Page One.

You're right, you have the solution: just click every other day or once a week

I don't think OP is an attention whore. I'd rather he keep updating than the alternative: most threads like this the OP just wanders away and we never hear the resolution.

Plus some people have been asking for updates.

But seriously...if this thread bothers you that much.....you've either got bigger issues or you NEED bigger issues to occupy you - not sure which

I'm just giving the people what they want honey, so what if that makes me a whore?
I confess to being a bit of a troll sometimes, but this is all really happening.
If you need a hobby, I can show you how to make thousands of dollars a month just by filling out surveys. All you need are a computer and a bunch of disposable friends.

I’m sorry.
True. People get on here and bitch and complain then never give any updates. Remember the TN "spicy mojito" that caught fire last year? Yeah after his rants about FCA and what not, we never heard anything about what happened. Now, I'm sure the insurance replaced it, but updates would have been nice instead of just the classic "fuck FCA they don't care" attitude.
