I was thinking if I could fit my winch control solenoid in that box somehow..... close to battery for wiring and sealed to keep muck out of it.

Got my battery today and got it installed…….. oh….. if only it was that simple, ? ……

I was gonna run a 40 amp fused jumper wire from N1 to N2 terminals in the fuse box, disconnect the aux negative cable from main negative cable and delete the aux battery.

But the more I thought about it, I wanted the aux battery out of there. So that’s what I did..

I have Artec inner fenders so getting to the aux batt. and getting it out was 5 minutes.

Getting the cables up out of that location and up to the main battery was a PITA…….had to take the 6 cables off of the fuse box and pull about 6 Xmas tree clips out to get enough room to get them up and out of there……..

Taking the aux battery out you attach the aux positive cable on the main positive cable and unhook the aux negative cable from the main negative cable and tape and tie it up out of the way.

DONE……. Well , at least with major mods. I’ll probably still do small things, but as far as major mods, that’s it for awhile.

My next phase is tons and 40s, not sure about coil overs, that’s a wait and see. By the time I’m ready there might be something better, who knows….

It’s been a 3 year labor of love…… but worth every minute and penny…..

Can’t believe how sweet the on road ride is, and it’s a beast offroad , very happy with how it turned out….
