Apologies for the delay buddy!

I'm getting 5" of air space between the backside of the tie rod and front edge of the axle tube, with the wheel turned full driver. I haven't yet trimmed the Reid knuckle steering stops, so I'm guessing it might drop to about 4.5".

Let me know if you want any other measurements or pics.

Thanks brother…….. no worries, was just foolin’ about…… …… got a yellow top coming tomorrow, my rig is currently tagged on the toe…….. Colby suspects dead battery, she’s captain obvious sometimes…….. ……had a hella day, I’m to tired to turn the wheels with it not running…?……..

So you are eliminating the ESS battery when installing new yellow top? Can you remove aftermarket liner to access? I’ve read couple of threads on removing but is it a major pita to rewire?

Pulling the fuse box is not that bad of a job to get it from the top.

Watch the Genesys dual battery install video as they show step by step how to remove and reinstall it.

So you are eliminating the ESS battery when installing new yellow top? Can you remove aftermarket liner to access? I’ve read couple of threads on removing but is it a major pita to rewire?

Yes, eliminating aux battery, I can get to battery super easy with artec liners, but I’m gonna leave it in there for now. Just gonna unhook aux ground from main ground terminal cable and run a 40 amp fused jumper wire from N1 to N2 in the fuse box and that’s it done deal… easy, peasey…….lol.

I’ve read both ways not too bad. I would prob just pull liner not entire flare (maybe ) Have a rivet tool and some rivets so not a big deal. ??

Copy that….. I started getting this message at start up for a few seconds ” auxiliary switches temporarily unavailable while battery is charging “ been getting it for a couple weeks, now will only hold a charge for about 12 hours.

I’m afraid mine won’t be any message since no aux switches. I also haven’t taken in for the TSB flash for 2018s either ??‍

I removed mine from below, its way easier…although i have no liners lol. The rewire to leave it out is simple, its on here somewhere, i forgot what i did lol. The leftover empty box makes a good hiding storage place if you wanna stash some drugs ?

When you say drugs do you mean Jeep drugs like a dual ARB setup ?

I was thinking if I could fit my winch control solenoid in that box somehow..... close to battery for wiring and sealed to keep muck out of it.
