I have recently seen that corrosion is appearing on many of my door hinges on my 2021 JLUR Gecko but the weird thing is that on one door it’s both hinges and on another door its just one hinge from what I can see. I have entered a claim with Jeep to get all the door hinges replaced because I don’t have time to take it to the dealership I have to go. Has anyone had a similar situation?

This is an ongoing issue with many, but not all of the JL's. I am not really sure, that the factory has a permanent fix for this issue. Some have reported having this repaired, more than once.

Is it just on the hinges, or on the door too?

Note that you need to take it to a dealership so the appropriate paperwork can be started. I'm thinking the warranty is 5(?) years. Be warned that it's several thousands of dollars of work for them to "fix" it, so don't wait.

Oh yea I know that for sure I had to get my hood repainted and hood hinges replaced.

From what I see it’s just the door hinges. I’m planning on taking it to the dealership on Saturday

Is your gecko a rubicon?

Make sure to check closely at the bottom of the doors. Likely on the tailgate as well. "It's a Jeep thing" in that they did a complete shit job.
Mine was very hard to detect with black paint, but I found loads of areas with bubbling paint. Had to have all the door resprayed.

Yea I’ve checked the doors and on my end I don’t know if I see any corrosion. I got rear ended last year so I got a brand new Tailgate door so that one should be fine 😂

I have an 08 and just left them. No issue other than looks, but over time the other scars of use kind of mask it.
Your 08 JK has steel doors so it won't spread past the actual hinge. The JL doors are aluminum

From what I heard the door hinges have a zinc cover to avoid the different metal direct contact and the hood is another material or something like that
It's not different metals. The hinges and doors are both aluminum as is the hood. The zinc shim was added to the hinges as a sacrificial anode to delay the corrosion spreading to the doors. Too early to tell how effective it will be. I'd check the inside seam on the bottom of your doors and hood for signs of corrosion because that's where it starts before it eventually spreads to the outside of the panel. Once there is corrosion in the hem flange, there is no repairing it, the panel needs to be replaced as per the TSB
