Let’s see how many of us has corrosion on their doors, hinges, hood & tailgate. I put bleu tapes at every location were I had corrosion issues prior bringing it in at the dealer.

Only spot I’ve noticed on my 19 is about 3 inches above center bottom of one of the rear doors. About a half inch bubble. So far the hinges don’t have anything but I have a feeling that’ll change within the next year or so.

Just curious if this seems to be more common in certain colors? I have a 2019 Black JLUS that has now shown the same issues at the bottom of the door panels, but my wifes is the same vehicle but dark grey and not having the issue at all yet.

I have an 18 JLUS in Ocean Blue Metallic and am having the same issue at the bottom of my front passenger door. The hinges look decent, but I noticed a spot at the bottom of this door the other day when I was cleaning it. I have 50k on my Jeep, so I don't think there is anything I can do about it through a warranty. Just stinks that a vehicle that is 3 years old has a 'rust' issue to deal with. Pretty sad. :crying:

Just found my first corrosion bubble on my 2021 jlu located on front ledge of hood. Its small and can easily be missed, going to keep an eye on it then bring up to dealer. Build date 12/2020. I recall alot of fords had issues with their aluminum hoods, especially the front hood edges

2019 JLUR with less than 30k miles. Hood replaced last year due to paint separation and corrosion bubbles. Now the entire jeep in the course of 10 days has the same issue. I mean the entire vehicle. Every door/panel/body/hinges. Currently just starting with dealership to come up with a solution. This is just a few pics of what I have currently.

Posted a follow up poll for people who answered “yes” - please post the color of your Jeep. Trying to determine if there’s any particular paint color that’s more susceptible.

Ocean Blue with corrosion on the doors and hinges. Also the corrosion warranty is 5 years so get your 2018's to your dealership ASAP.

Ocean Blue here as well. It has been in the shop for a week now. They said to expect two weeks to get it done.
