I own a 2023 Jeep Wrangler Willys Sport 2D with the 3.6 liter engine. I always like to keep extra fluids on hand so I can top off fluids as needed. (Yes - I am OCD and like my fluids at the max/full mark when at operating temperature). Is the coolant used for the Power Pack Unit and Motor Generator Unit the same as the coolant used for the engine? I don't mean to ask a dumb question, but I also do not want to add the incorrect fluid either.

I am referring to Item #7 and #11 from the engine diagram below. I am assuming Mopar MS 90032 50/50 Prediluted Atifreeze/Coolant.

Thank You in advance for any advice/help.

Anyone know what is the part number for the 50/50 gal Mopar coolant? 23 3.6 liter engine.

Interesting question. I have been adding the 50/50 coolant solution to the power pack and MGU reservoirs since purchasing my JL in 2021, but referred back to the owner's manual to see where this is specified and found nothing.

Weird that this isn't addressed anywhere, but I suspect it's because Stellantis wants us to pay big bucks for the dealership to refill the reservoirs...or it's just another careless omission in a poorly written, poorly organized manual. I'll bet on the latter.

Afaik, it's the only factory coolant used for all Jeep vehicles now (2.0T, 3.6L, eTorque system coolant, etc). Maybe all CDJR vehicles now?

I didn't need any, but snagged a jug when Amazon had it below $15.

The 2018 manual mentions the MGU and "battery coolant", though my '23 manual only specifies MS.90032 for the MGU and the power pack unit (PPU) only shows capacity.

Definitely vague af for certain years.

Yep. The same section in the manual for my '21 Sport only lists engine coolant. No mention of battery or MGU at all. Thank goodness for common sense and this forum to help make up for a rather shoddy operator's manual.

Is it not listed directly on the coolant reservoir cap? MS-12106?

Nope, but that's not what we're concerned about in this thread. The manual clearly addresses coolant requirements for the engine, but not the power pack and MGU. Plus, the coolant standard is MS.90032, at least for the 3.6L.

MS-12106 is the same coolant as MS-90032, the difference is concentrate vs premixed. MS-12106 is the label you will find on the vehicle.

Yup, I see no reason to buy watered down coolant.
