LOL, I missed it when I poured it in. 90032 is purple out of the jug..
Anyone have the Mopar 90032 orange-pink coolant turn purple?
I've been in the days long process of flushing my coolant system.
Before I put any flush in, I drained the contaminated (oil from oil cooler seals) coolant into a catch pan and bottled for haz waste disposal. To get the residue out, I had a garden hose running in the coolant tank, the plug out of the block and the engine idling for 5-10 minutes, heater on. Then, plugged it, put in the flush and water and drove it for a day. I did this process twice.
Then I drained as above, flushed with garden hose while plug removed, drained completely, filled with distilled water, drove for 20 miles. After completely cooling overnight, I drained again, started it for about 20 seconds to pump out a bit more, plugged it, and dumped in a gallon of Mopar orangie-pinkish coolant. Soon afterward the coolant turned a purple color.
