2022 JL with 3.6. I had to add about 1/2 cup of coolant at 10,000 miles to put it back to the minimum line on the plastic tank. I am at 18,000 miles now and it is again about 1/2 cup low. Thats not much fluid at all. Is this normal usage for a sealed system?

No, sounds like you should be under warranty at 10,000 miles though. I would go to your dealer. I chased coolant consumption for quite a while before getting it in for service, it was the crossover tube leaking on mine, got it replaced under warranty.

Mine was consuming coolant. Did an oil analysis and found coolant in the oil.

Took it apart and found the seals on the oil cooler were blown between the oil passages and the coolant passages.

That sucks. Glad you got it fixed. Looks like mine may have been the cap.

I thought the coolant was at 21 PSI though? That is what the cap has listed at any rate.

Regarding coolant pressure, I was just generalizing to give the concept of a low pressure vs the high oil pressure. Your pressure figure is more accurate.

Do an oil analysis to verify you have no coolant in your oil. If you continue to dilute the oil with coolant, it will do bad things to it. Rockers and cams are conceivably connected to this.

Copy. Was making sure it wasnt actually less.

You would think by now they would redesign that terrible thing. My wife had a 2014 T&C before her Jeep and when that thing went, oil was everywhere.

They have. It no longer looks like that.
