Their predicted reliability score is such a joke. I don't know why people take that rag seriously.
I don't think anyone takes into consideration the demographics here.

Owners are known to both modify the hell out of their jeeps and drive them really rough in the middle of nowhere. If jeep could hang on in terms of reliability in those circumstances every other auto maker would be copying jeep.

Unpossible! I have been assured by my betters that Toyota is impregnable and unimpeachable.
You're just gonna have to try harder if you wanna get that Toyota pregnant, John

True. Not only did you use the wrong your, you forgot the apostrophe.

But so many people don't know your from you're so it's really like one of those worn down speed bumps you don't have to slow down for.

I don't know over the last week I think I've put quite a bit of coolant in my Jeep... I'm starting to get worried. So the weekend before last I did an oil change and noticed the coolant reservoir was pretty low and topped it off. The morning after I got back from the Jeep jamboree (this past Sunday) I had to top it off again... Less than a thousand miles and it already needed coolant again.

Not sure where the coolant is going because there's no apparent leaks and I don't smell coolant under the hood either.

Still less than 22,000 miles.

I am totally happy with my 23 Wrangler "IZARUBI" 2 Dr. and I only have 7200 miles on it so far but most of those miles are dirty and rocky miles.

However, I did replace all my Mopar Suspension and Steering with Metalcloak and Fox components about 5,000 miles ago.

I don’t subscribe to CR…it seems they focus on two areas…how vehicles drive and perform, and their reliability. The low drivability performance ratings they assign to the Wrangler doesn’t recognize the intended use of the vehicle. For instance a Honda minivan would score very low on a Moab trail…clearly not its intended use case. This is the area where CR fails miserably.

Conversely, CR reliability ratings are based on owner experiences and is therefore far more relevant IMHO. My personal experience supports the poor CR reliability rating. I like my Jeep but it’s had some pretty bad warts…and it’s certainly not improving based experiences shared on this board.

And for the most part I just default to the re version out of habit for some reason and usually go back and fix it.
