Compass stopped working

So I’ve had my JL for about two months and all of the sudden the compass is intermittently working. For no rhyme or reason when I start jeep sometimes it’ll be working and other times it won’t.

Disconnect the three negative battery terminals from the battery over night. I did this and it reset mine. Do a search on the forum for which three terminals I'm referring to.

Thank you for the tip, I’ll try that. Have you noticed the compass staying on after the negative terminals were disconnected?

Once I did that all was well and have had no problems since.

I am sad your compass stopped working, but I guess mine was never installed as I cannot find it in UConnect...Any ideas?

On you Uconnect touch screen, touch the Apps at the bottom and it's in there

Search the forum, I know there are pics as I have reported some of them. If I remember correctly one is on the battery and two are mounted on the fender next to the battery.

I JSU picked up a certified pre owned 2018 Wrangler and have the same issue. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn’t.

While it is working go to a parking lot and drive in a circle. I'm not joking, that's how the compass gets calibrated. If you have OCD like me you can then drive in a circle in the opposite direction for thoroughness sake.
