@TabarnaCarl of course the need for a cooler in freezing ambient temperatures is moot, but if you have other appliances you seek to run of a second battery and plan to operate them in freezing temperatures, a LiFEPO4 battery *might* not be right for you.
Arguably engine bay heat, or if installed in the cabin, cabin heat, may bring the battery to adequate temperatures to charge, and some LiFEPO4's come with or people have them work with heaters, but...just sayin.
