I have the Naturnest RTT and the quality is exceptional for the price.
These are about a third of the price of the better known brands.
But from the ones I've seen, these are equal or better in quality.
And fully loaded with the same features as all the others.

It took a long time getting a rack that I wanted, but I finally got it.
Garvin Adventure rack for 2-door JL. Needs some modifications, still.
Here's what it looks like mounted on my JL

One mod I'm working on is better mounting points for the tent.
And welding up a few of the pieces to sturdy it and simplify it.
It's a great rack but I think my mods will make it better for me.
Apparently, Garvin discontinued the rack and sold the company.
They were out of stock/unavailable everywhere for several months.
Then I found a listing on Garvin's website and placed my order.
It was about 3 months waiting but they came through.

Not pictured is a 200-watt solar system mounted on the tent.
This is still a work in progress. Camping at my brother's house.
I want to get it worked out there, before hitting the trails and lakes.
So far, I have two 100-watt panels mounted to the tent's roof rack.
A 20-amp MPPT controller. All applicable fuses. 1500-watt inverter.
I'm building a cabinet for everything, that will mount in front of the tent.
The cabinet will also serve as a wind deflector to help protect it all.
I have ordered a heating pad, fans and thermostats for the cabinet.
I'll have one thermostat set to run the heat when it gets below 40 ° F.
And the other will kick on the fans at around 90 ° F.

During my test camping trips, I was using my 100AH LifePO4 battery.
This battery is for my trolling motor but works well for testing.
I had plenty of power for all lights, fan and tablet/phone chargers.
Also, using the inverter to run a 600-watt skillet, twice a day.
I have a 280AH LifePO4 battery ordered. It will go in the cabinet.

I'll add some more photos when I get the solar finished.

I still have room on the roof for a single 200-watt panel if I feel I need it.
And I planned it all to be upgraded later, just in case it does need it.
I would replace the controller for a 40-amp. Everything else will work fine.

This is a little off topic, but kinda not. I bought a Meta Quest 3S for camping.
Connected to my Legion Go, I'll have a giant TV screen in that tiny tent.
Also, a full gaming system. I don't game often, but I do enjoy TV and movies.

Sweet! And jealous. I suppose I will keep plowing along with my little ground tent.

Looking at that tent for some time now. I’ve slept in the Jeep…it was ok but I would need a better mattress. Used my T3 tent and a cot for a couple years…that works as well but it takes up lots of room inside.

I need a rack and have decided to pull the plug and get a Rhino backbone system.

How is the mattress in that tent and can you close it with your bedding in it?

is that the Polaris Plus model?

looks good, but dang, 181 freakin' lbs? it better be well built!
that's way more weight than i wanted to mount that high.

i chose an Inspired, because a) i'm on the tall side of 6', and b) i was looking for the lowest possible Center of Gravity and lowest possible profile for wind drag because of where we go and the kind of playing around we do.
possibly not as "high quality", but had an 86" bed length, weighed under 90lbs, and is under 4" when closed.
turned out to also be on the less expensive side of most other options, and by good fortune, available from not far off of my regular commute.

downside is that it does not have as large of a vestibule cover (not shown open here 'cause it was too freaking cold), but i don't use that much anyway. it's also a soft-side, which is a downside for some, but i've rubbed it up against some stuff and it seems to be surviving pretty well so far, and is more likely to be repairable if i ever do put a hole in it.

I like a bit of a firm mattress, so it works very well for me. I have closed the tent with pillows and bedding in. It doesn't close as easy, but it will close.

I really don't know the model name but here is a link to it on Amazon

I will add that the rack empty costs me about one MPG, from 22 to 21.
The RTT costs me another 3 MPG. So 18 MPG to hit the campsites.
I haven't pulled my boat with the RTT on but it's never effected my mileage.
My lawn mower trailer costs me about 1.5-2 MPG. Worse case will be 16 MPG.

You can feel the drag from the RTT. Hopefully the deflector/cabinet will help.
