I've used the Quad-Lock for years and I've been happy with it.

Gibson leather works.

I have one of these mounted on the passenger side of the hump. I really like how it works for running CarPlay enabled apps and is completely unobtrusive. The only issue is that the position confuses the compass on the phone so it doesn't know which way the vehicle is pointed if it's not moving.

RAM mount screwed into dash, other end attached to the back of an Otter but would also work with the RAM multi-mount "X" thingy. Easy, solid, doesn't block the vent, or the view.

I just got the OffRoam phone mount in the mail and super super awesome. Extremely sturdy and well made. Low profile as well

Update to my original post:
Moved to the the OffRoam magnetic phone mount because I am lazy and WOW what a game changer. Magnet holds strong and its also a wireless charging pad and best of all I only need one hand to place it on the mount instead of 2(yes thats how lazy I am)

BUT the very very BEST part is being able to use the phone in landscape mode with a simple tilt of the screen when I am eating in the car or parked somewhere waiting

I'm not one for having anything in my line of sight. Just my thing. Hate anything blocking the straight lines of the dash top. I went with this mount. Easy to install. (pop the center control panel off, remove the left side passenger dash grab handle bolt and this mount slips in) Took me all but 4 minutes. Since I use this as my work truck, nobody sits in the passenger side and the phone is kept cool during the summer heat of AZ. No more "phone is overtemp" screens.

Hi. Looking for any “life tested” cell phone holder/mount recommendations. I see too many that are big and bulky that mount on the dash. I have a cheaper plastic one from another vehicle that clips on the vent which I like, but it gets a bit flimsy on the JL vent. Thx
Started with bullet point then later decided I liked the tackform plate

I bought a Ram Mount setup. The rail mounts to the dash and then you attach an arm and then the cell phone holder. Ended up not liking it. Too much vibration and dislike having stuff block my view. And I had to buy one part on Amazon, one at Northridge. Another at Ram and they rape you on shipping. Northridge was good.

All of these mounts with arms, etc are crazy bulky. I’m trying to find a good solid one that clips to the vent. Something good but minimal. I have one that clips but it loosens to easy, the circular vent style prevents many from working on the wrangler

I have 67 Designs in my Wrangler and BulletPoint on the truck. Both seem well made and work fine, so far. My Jeep doesn't get driven as much as the truck, so there are more miles on the bulletpoint -- about 15,000 and counting.

Here's the Tackform setup I just installed. The new design has a cutout for the 4xe charging lights.

Haha! When I got the first crack within a couple weeks, I sure was ticked off, thinking I had paid extra for the monkey magic. But I didn't see the logo on the glass, and was pissed about not getting what i paid for! Then I actually looked at the Monroney, and I guess this build didn't include it.... So, it's just the standard crappy glass. Oh well. Hasn't been much point in replacing it yet, no cracks in my vision line. Maybe I'll make it through winter before calling Safelite.
