I have a Drive X. Utilized it in out of the box configuration for a big trip last year, but have yet to final install in my planned configuration (I have their version of the Ghost to match my Midland GMRS Ghost on the other side).

To set expectations, think of it as one extra bar of signal, it doesn't create signal out of nothing. They're not cheap, best deal I found was a factory refurb on Amazon. We have an Garmin In Reach for no signal emergency situations.

I will say, once you buy both and pay for the Garmin service, I'd consider the more mobile versions of Starlink available now. We utilized Starlink (standard) at camp with great results. With mini and the roam subscription available, that'd be the first thing I would consider.

I have we boost and yes it dose work as long as there is a week signal.
After installing I took my jeep to a canyon that I always lost my signal.
Went in and out of the canyon and never lost a signal.

Which model of we boost do you have? There is one out they called the sleek. It looks like it’s pretty simple and straightforward and it’s about 200 bucks and then there is their off-road one has a fixed antenna that’s about 300 and something and then there’s another one that has a box or something that goes underneath your seat and that looks like it’s about four 500. I’m thinking I’m just gonna go with the sleek for the simplicity of the install

I keep my antenna in the down position when not in use and in the down position I get very little to no boost.
So the antenna position should be as high as possible to get the best reception and that's why I went with this one.

I am using the FUISON2GO 3.0 kit. Seems to work great here in Wyoming.
