@bbq4133,

To cancel a reservation due to the available information on trims is your call but know that none of these trim options are finalized until you see a build tool. Nobody at this point knows anymore than what Ford has given us and even that can change. And what do you mean by available color options on the Bronco???? All Jeep has is 4 shades of black, red and yellow...I have a yellow Rubi on order but I chose it because it was the ONLY color other than red!! Lol. With that said, I think the Rubi looks awesome in yellow.

If it’s one thing the Bronco has going for it, it’s color selection. Now why both Jeep and Ford are hold out on their “blues” is beyond me. Velocity Blue for Ford and possibly Hydro for Jeep.

ALWAYS good to be friends....if & when you need some one to give you a little tug with a strap or winch. I guess it’s time that I invest in a winch.....there are going to be a lot of new friends out there with Broncos. ( Iam just having fun). Really any Rig Out there wheeling is a FRIEND.

Ford's head of communications has confirmed what's available; he's had to do so because the infographics Ford released had bad and inaccurate information, often times conflicting with a reality that Ford knew and didn't disclose (Sasquatch auto only) and with their own website (front/rear lockers standard on Badlands).

I followed this closely, participated in the forums, and made the call based on what Ford said. If they change their mind for 2022 then I'd certainly consider it, but it seems like they're leaving that manual to die.

And the color--I wanted the blue. I didn't love any of the other colors. As you know, the blue won't be available until later.

I do love the granite on my Rubi, though.

I think you shouldn't assume.
I was going by your statement.
The 2.3 is as powerful as the 3.6 jeep and will be as powerful as the 2.7 with tune. I believe 338hp and 455tq with 15% drive train loss. Way more power than the stock 2.7 and your jeep all with the 2.3.

Again its your money and you made a great choice. The jeep is awesome vehicle specially with 3 pedals. For record I was trying to purchase a 2dr rubi stick as well. Dealer advertised $8k off of JL's I asked for $7k off the rubi, they would not go lower than $3.5k.

For the same $50k I walked across the street and ordered a Tremor!

You didn’t really though, as I didn’t mention rock crawling or say the Bronco was not capable. The Bronco is plenty capable, its just a touch limited in ways the Jeep isn’t (IFS) so that its on road and higher speed characteristics could be superior by comparison.

There were deals all by me in July. Plenty off ($7K or so) and no payments for 90 days. Was that not nationwide? It was all over Jeep dot com too.

I did plenty of research; had Ford been honest about the manual from the get go, I’d have never placed a reservation. They weren’t, though.

Pay him no mind...he's one of the resident fanbois, lol.
I'm 70% positive he (or someone with a similar name) was on Bronco6G in the week I was active there which is wild since my avatar was literally a "save the mansquatch" graphic lmao.

Well, Nickp01 is a moderator there.....so some of these boys have some pretty emotional connections to the Bronco they can't even buy yet. Just keep that in mind when you read their posts. They're emotionally invested in this vehicle in much the same way we're financially invested in the JLs. It's human nature to defend what you decided upon.
Oh yeah, we love confirmation bias.

The Bronco reveal was cool, I was very hyped. Once a few days settled and everyone started digging in, the reality kinda became apparent for me. Truth be told, I wish Ford was a bit more transparent and disclosing of accurate information and a bit more committed to the manual than they are. And I get it re: manuals--they're a dying breed. But one manufacturer was able to give me what I want with a bit less compromise, no wait, and favorable financial terms and the other simply cannot.

I was in a Mustang for the last 15+ years. Transparency isn't Ford's thing. Now don't get me wrong I loved my Mustang and still love them, but if you are a fan of the car Ford doesn't give a shit, it's all money to them on every level. I was part of the Black Mustang Car club back in the early 2000s. FORD SUED US, or tried to at least, for making a calendar of OUR CARS that WE PAID FOR.

Nominated and voted on by the member base. Those cars for the year were then put into a calendar for the following year. Sold to the members, until Ford said we were stealing their property, name image blah blah blah blah. Let the Bronco guys be super fans, they'll learn quick Ford will shit all over them.

Now don't get me wrong, I'm new to the Jeep community and I'm sure FCA or whatever their name now has their quirks and issues, because let's face it no company is perfect, but I have never heard of a fan base being sued by any other manufacturer as Ford has done and continues to do. IF those that think all this footage is 100% accurate and set up to show what Ford wants you to see, well I'm sorry to tell you but you are just fooling yourself into believing Ford made a perfect vehicle.

I had a 2017 Mustang GT and my air conditioning suffered from a known defect—said defect had a TSB and Ford corrected the defect for the MYs coming after. They didn’t recall it despite the fact the failure rate was stupid high and I was forced to eat about $2,000 in repairs due to it.

I should have known better lol

Welcome to the community and the jeep world! But unfortunately you can easily replace "Ford" with "FCA" in your quote and still have a very true statement.

You can do that with... pretty much any large corporation, though. Companies are only transparent when it won't cost them profits.

Ford is being sued right now by the Mustang owners because the MT has had a very known and documented issue since the early days of the S550 platform.

I had a Tacoma for 7 months and the same thing applied to Toyota!

I had that manual and looking back on it, yeah, I guess it wasn’t so “normal” after all lol.

I am excited for the Bronco I really am, but the hype this thing is getting is like not even exciting anymore. OMG it crawled MOAB, yeah so did these guys lol.

I'm really hoping this opens Jeeps eyes to making changes (for the better) Ford can have all that electronic shit though, I don't want to try to fix that while out on a trail, i.e. electronic seats, suspension, and god only knows what else is controlled by the computer.

I would of honestly probably would have bought one, you know the last 3 times they were supposed to be released but I got tired of waiting and decided to go with something tried and true. Seeing what they are going to be now, I'm happy with my decision. Being a Ford family for so long and knowing how their new vehicles tend to work, I wouldn't consider one of these for at least 2 years so they can work out all the initial bugs and with all the fancy gizmos there are going to be plenty.
