Seriously? Four of my last seven trucks have been Ford's (1 King Ranch and 3 Raptors) currently have a RAM Longhorn 4x4 and Rubi 2-door.

I am glad Ford is reintroducing the Bronco as healthy competition improves all brands and is win for consumers. This does not mean however that on a Wrangler forum, we can not poke fun at the competition!

As for your snide remarks / posts, they are clearly on display for all to see...at least until you edit them. If you fail to recognize that many of your posts lean heavily to the 'snide' side, nothing I can do to help you. Likely you were also the kid in school who got shoved into lockers...

Now I am always up for a little 'relaxation'...If you ever find yourself down in Arizona, PM me and I will be glad to meet up and buy ya a beer...
Whatever man, not sure what your goal is or how this contributes to this thread and I'm sure nobody wants to read this. I never once got pushed against any lockers as I had buddy's in every circle, so not sure what your point is...because I'm responding to your snide remarks?

I think it's safe to assume that nobody cares about this and probably best to stop. Ford and the FFB club thanks you for your past purchases.

A lot of people from that recent drive along are saying the Bronco Sport is pretty capable, as well. In all honesty something like that would probably take me where I wanted to go 99% of the time, but I would hate not having the removable doors and top.

Sort of, they just dump the content in here and delete the other threads.
Ah, that explains why this one is 122 pages...because Sean was bringing up some good points but don’t remember that being in this thread. Now I get it.

It is and I’m not sure how the Ford Escape and Explorer will survive with this Bronco lineup. It looks pretty sharp for an SUV too.

The Explorer is slightly larger than either Bronco. I believe it’s 7 passenger (kind of lol). And the cops love them so I guess they’ll always be around.

The Bronco Sport should be better daily driving as well, so if it suits your needs and you don’t want the removable door or top, probably a good choice. I guess it’s probably A competitor for the Cherokee more than the Wrangler?

Seeing as the major gripes on the Bronco was it can only run on fire trails or small hills and the launch was weak, Ford did way more with the bronco than I thought they would.
Making it through the Rubicon and moab(both of which were complaints/question by Jeep fans at launch) the Bronco is indeed a competitor.
Pricing is the only question left. Base plus Sasquatch vs Base Rubicon.

Do you mean Base - Base Bronco + Sasquatch or Base Badlands + Sasquatch?

I believe Base Badlands is designed to be the direct competitor to the Rubicon. Badlands and First Edition are the only models with the sway bar disconnect. With that said from what I’m learning, Sasquatch on the Badlands Is not really getting you much, other than the larger tires and the benefits of the larger tires. Ford should make the pricing for Sasquatch on the Badlands a whole lot less than on the other models but that’s probably a pipe-dream...

Meh...maybe it's just my libertarian philosophy showing, but I just don't believe in censorship (other than spam and maybe porn...)and the owner of the site should be able to dictate decorum...though I'd sincerely hope if they are US based owners, they will honor the founding ideal of truly free speech. Of course, as has been seen here repeatedly, truly free speech isn't tolerated. I only know of one internet forum that's that way....and it is a beacon of hope in an otherwise closed minded world for that exact reason.
I started an overlanding and an off road oriented Bronco page just because of those reasons. When I see pages shut down conversation they disagree with, I start a group. :like:As the admin, as long as it’s respectful, anything goes outside the two things, spam and porn, that you mentioned.

Mostly agree. There’s trade offs for either but I think there’s enough overlap that I understand your point of view. I think from a Jeeper point of view, it’s how hardcore a trail you regularly tackle.

I’m not saying they shouldn’t be allowed, I just find all the arguments silly about a vehicle that doesn’t exist yet.

This place doesn't even censor disrepectful. Quite refreshing actually.
Agreed. I’ve not had an issue yet but I don’t melt quickly. lol It would have to get out of hand perhaps.

If that's all it took to be a "competitor"...then the Isuzu Amigo qualified way back in the 90s when they did the same thing with 2 stock rigs.
Joe Isuzu "birdie" comercial? Hilarious!!

Base Bronco with Sasquatch it gives people the offload capabilities they want without all the fluff. You are correct the base Rubicon would still have the sway disconnect that the Base Sasquatch would not.
Correct the Badlands has most of the Sasquatch on it standard.

It is. As much as a competitor as the FJ was. Making it through the rubicon isnt that big of a deal. Toyota did it back in the day when they released the FJ and Jeep even took the cherokee there... The bronco can obviously off road and so can an FJ and so can a cherokee.

The FJ is a pretty good car, but it doesnt have SFA.

Yea, it's basically their Cherokee Trailhawk from what I can tell, and looks like all you could want if you're a big overlander. Most of the Youtube people keep comparing it to the Compass Trailhawk, though, which I find odd because I don't believe the Compass has an electronic locker and nearly the same clearance and angles, but maybe I'm wrong. Maybe the Bronco Sport is closer in overall dimensions to a Compass than a Cherokee, I don't know, but in terms of the off-road capability it seems similar to the Cherokee. I don't believe you can even get a Bronco Sport without 4x4.

The neighbor a few doors down has been driving the bronco sport for the past month (camouflaged/then unwrapped after the reveal) and its definitely as big as the Cherokee. I actually mistakenly thought it was the full size while it was still in camo.
