I got a simple bottle jack, and it didn't come with a cradle/saddle. Which size should I get to use with the JL? I suppose I could measure, but my Jeep is outside, and it's cold outside; and the internet is all warm, but my searches are coming up empty.

Nah, it’s more fun to roll the dice using the little nub on the jack and hoping the axle doesn’t slip off. Keeps the chest hairy.

Actually that’s a great little invention. Have not seen one of those before.

It comes with a carry bag. It is very similar to the Safe Jack for less than 1/2 the price.

That's a nice set. Unfortunately I already bought the safe jack version a couple of years ago. The problem I had with it is the "lift height" of a normal bottle jack isn't long enough to change a flat tire. I was on 37" tires when I had a blow out on the transatlantic railroad road. I could get the flat tire off but not the new tire on. I used the stock jack as a "jack stand" so I could reset the bottle jack and make it work.

I have since bought a double ram bottle jack. I bought this one: Link

I haven't had an opportunity to use it yet and need to test it to make sure it works. I would let all the air out of a tire and test your setup before you need it.

edit: The safe jack accessories work on it but aren't as tight as the original bottle jack that came with it. You have to use the little black thing that comes with it to put around the jack ram.

OP's is 100% made in the USA, if that's an important factor to whomever is buying it.
I’m not going to say everything made in the USA is high quality but for a safety item, if I have a choice , I’m going to go with a $50 item made in the USA vs something on Amazon with a name I can’t pronounce with weird spelling and grammar mistakes in the description for $25. That‘s just me though.

I agree. Hard to say on the quality, but if there's a "Made in USA" choice, I more likely to buy that, regardless of cost.

$54.99 for the USA product above includes shipping as well.

So 37s, half that is 18.5, minus 2 inches for axle.you need a jack that collapses to 16 inches, and then goes up to 22.

I love math. According to your math then we need a 6 inches of lift, most bottle jacks have a five inch lift so they won't work. Thanks for figuring that out.
