Good afternoon everyone, I have a 2018 JLUR. I'm looking to replace my worn out Fox ATS 2.0 steering stabilizer that has worn out at the pinch bracket. I think this is a terrible design and would like to find a better solution. Looking for any feedback on what works well and holds up the best. Thanks.

To my knowledge there are basically 2 designs. If you don't like the through-shaft design then I guess try the standard shock style steering stabilizer. I'm currently using the AEV/Bilstein SS and its working very well for my jeep.

There are other brands to choose from; RC, Rancho, Skyjacker, rugged ridge, teraflex, Falcon.

There is also the road master SS.
I've read some people were very happy with these.

This... (AEV/Bilstein SS) - I just installed one and immediately noticed an increase in precision and less bump-steer. Way worth the $121.

I keep swapping back and forth between my oem and AEV and can tell zero difference..just got back from a 2500 mile road trip to Moab/Colorado and put the oem back on in case I ripped it off and drove great coming and going...put the AEV back on when I got home and blind folded you could not tell the difference in how they feel driving...

I really liked the feel of the AEV one, but it caused a pull to the right on mine. I talked to them and they said it is very rare, but they have heard of the issue. Most likely something in my steering is starting to wear out allowing it to happen.

Yeah, I am not happy with my Fox ATS either. I have had two and both have leaked. To be honest, the mopar one is pretty great. I have noticed very little improvement with aftermarket stabilizers.

Can you post a picture? I'm curious I have one and haven't noticed anything unusual.

I had a similar experience when I installed a Rancho RS7MT steering damper. I found a steering reset procedure (maybe in this thread) that made a big difference in the pulling to the right.

The reset procedure was something like you to pull a fuse, start the engine, turn off, wait 5 minutes, replace fuse, start engine turn full lock left/right and turn off engine. Your done.
