There’s an older thread on this topic already. CMM makes the best side mirrors for doorless driving. Expensive? Yes. Solid? The best there is and they don’t look like something you find in the Wal-Mart auto section.
This is the correct answer.

I had the Quadratec Mirror Movers on my '14 JK and they were nice. They stayed on all the time and swung out of the way when taking the doors off. I don't think they have them for the JL yet.
Correct they do not have a new design because the windshield and cowel bolts r different on JL from the JK

I have the Steinjagger ones that drop into the door hinge and have a magnet that sticks to the door jam for stability. Great mirror but what’s bad is if you’re in a store someone can just pull em out and walk away.

I drilled in the mirror movers. They're move a bit going over bumps, but it's well worth it to never have to worry about putting or taking off mirrors. Takes 10 minutes off removing doors if you live in an apartment like me. Took some work to secure it all down, and I won't lie about a few scuffs on the plastic pieces on the windows, but It hasn't progressed. I haven't had an issues this past winter in the North East. Until a better solution comes, I'll keep these as i also saved some cash having a Sport with no wiring to worry about. If you want some more info DM me and I'll part out the pieces. All in all about $200 at the time - having originally had the JPeggz I saved some loot selling those. The JPeggz will ruin the alignment of your hinges - I repeat! THE JPEGGZ will RUIN THE ALIGNMENT of your HINGES - do not buy.

I had the Carolina metal masters. Wasn’t a fan of the actual location of the mirror. upgraded to the Langley. So Much happier where the mirror sits now, it’s close to the Stock location

You could have mounted the CMMs on the bottom of the grab handle which puts them at the same height as stock. No idea why they don’t document that (or even make it the default). I love mine, and that’s how I mount them.

I have a set of the Motor City Aftermarket mirrors. They are great. No vibration at any speed. They are easy on and easy off. Very solid. I would buy again.

Do they interfere with folding the windshield down?

My Lange Morris folded over 50mph. Sold them and bought CMM.
Perhaps a little more muscle on the tightening screw, bud. I've been a long way on interstate speeds with no problems with my Lange mirrors. I'm glad there are a lot of choices for this now. I personally don't care for the look of the CMM, the price, or the viewing angle on passenger side. Sold those and bought Lange (and put $$ in the bank.)

To each their own. I found the Lange to be cheaply made and I didn’t like the cowl mount. Also, I don’t care for set screws on something like that. It’s not about muscle. It’s about quality and preference.

I had the doubletake mirriors. Too hard to see out of and took forever to adjust. I just installed these and love them. I bought two knobs at Lowe’s for the insert screw. Takes 10 seconds to put on to use. Lange coyote mirrior.

Could you post a pic from the front of the car? I’m interested in these. But don’t really like the look. It’s this or trail doors and I’m leaning towards trail doors

I got the Lange Coyotes and ran them quite a bit the last couple weeks.

I like them better than the stock mirrors.

They cover the blind spots too.
