Yes you can put all on one switch unless you want them to come on separately. Switches 3and4 are 15amp and 1and 2 are 40 amp. You can use whichever switches you want, but I would use the 15amps for lights. Save the 40s for your freezer or air compressor, etc...I’m installing 2 small cubes and a 30 inch light bar on the hood. Should I wire all three lights to same wire from AUX kit? Also, is there a specific wire from AUX kit that is recommended? I know they differ in power output...
Hey All,
I have a 2020 Rubicon 4cyl 2.0T with 4 auxiliary switches on inside console...Please tell me where are the connections to hook up to..I just purchased 2 Hella compact LED driving lights..they each have a substantial wire lead with them..Just point me in the direction of where the hook up is..Is it in fuse box??
Thanks in advance
Michael
Doubtful that "2 Hella compact LED driving lights" would draw near or over 15 amps. It is wise to know draw before doing the install though, so you know how to proceed. How many amps will all of your lights draw? If more than (or close to) 15 amps you may want to have the 15 amp aux switch operate a relay with inline fuses to the lights.
The OP also has a 30" light bar he may want to put onto the same aux switch.Doubtful that "2 Hella compact LED driving lights" would draw near or over 15 amps. It is wise to know draw before doing the install though, so you know how to proceed.
