Yeah Pirate4x4 or its watered down iteration.…people here don’t even know they should show some respect when you throw that out. You were so helpful I thought dang someone hacked his account. Then I thought he’s being very tolerant of assholery throughout this thread maybe he’s unwell. I mean rather than the obvious suggestion of getting the stuff mounted and doing the suspension travel work yourself it is easier to tell people to give you the answer and then when they guess say…no you’re wrong…Gosh! Idiots!

I mean I got what he was going for, I was just trying to say that it doesn't make a lot of sense to be willing to go to 1.5" up from where he's at but not be willing to go to 2" when you're concerned about up travel, ESPECIALLY when said config is a fairly bog standard "Lower JL with bigger tires" kind of config and is a known quantity for avoiding potentially unwanted tub cutting. It's a half inch more, lets you care less that you're running at your max desirable bump, you end up having to trim like an inch/inch-and-a-half off the pinch seam which ain't much and satisfies the "Not too much cutting" requirement, and off you go.

Nah, I've just been thinking still about plans for 39s and this actually fit with that.
I just ordered the Motobilt high clearance front inners a couple of days ago and will do the front tub trimming and post. But I didn’t want to get yelled at since I am not advanced and will probably not jump to 42s and remove my lift. Maybe 38s in the next year or so which isn’t really badassworthy.

And he posted a link to a build that had a 2" lift claiming "this is an example of the types of builds and information I am looking for"

Careful .5" is controversial

If you're gonna burn money go with 39s, they're more expensive than many 40s so they must be better

Maybe it’s not too late to call Northridge and cancel.
What we're saying is call them and upgrade to bigger tires Terry

I said all of this, but the three of you have been to busy shitposting and jerking eachother off to notice I guess. None of you have done, or are doing what I am asking about, so why are you posting in this thread?
I mean you said lots of thing that made your goals clear as mud.

"I would like to keep the ride height no taller than stock XR Rubicon height if possible."

" I already have Motobilt high clearance inner fenders (MB1243 & MB1254) with KBD flares."

But you're willing to cut them more.

"They absolutely are, it just depends how committed you are. I am more committed than most, but not fully committed either..."

"I have no interest in extending my bump stops more than 2" or running much more than stock XR Rubicon ride height."

"I am wanting to run the 39s with essentially no lift. I am currently at stock Rubicon height, but I have XR springs I can throw on to maintain up travel if I have to add some bump stop extension. "

I'll go ahead and fuck off now. Enjoy the next Forum you head to, I would like to suggest [Banned Site].

42s, 21.5” belly. Frame rails are 22.75” off the ground

this is the same height I’ve ran at 37s and 39s, and that was with 3.5” lift coils.

this setup is on ORIs, about 4” uptravel in the front and 5” in the rear on a 14” ORI
